Now that it's January, I can officially say that-- "We're supposed to go to Disney World next month." I'm still a little cautious about saying "We're GOING" as opposed to "scheduled to go" or "supposed to go"; things happen, and it lessens the disappointment to hold that in mind should something go wrong. But it's beginning to seem real now-- we have plans to go to WDW next month.

We are going next month too!!
I know what you mean, I am scared something is going to happen & we will not be able to go.
Just made a reservation for a car, wanted an SUV or Minivan, but ended up with a full size car. the SUV & MiniVan was $350.00 more, planning on a small budget, that much would pay for boarding our pet. Little bit disappionted. We have to drive 12hrs, 3 adults & 1 child, hope there is enough room.
Snow here, been this way for 2 weeks, I am sick of it already.
I can not wait to see sunshine & 65 degrees or better!! LOL!!!

Bella2013, it's been snowing a little here, but usually what we get in February is ice storms (I'm in the St. Louis area). I've already told my DH that if our plane gets grounded due to weather, that I'm going to start walking.
When are you going? Our plans are for the 11th through the 20th-- the longest I've ever been there.

Have a great trip. Weather is something that can throw a monkey wrench into the plans. We try staying away from winter months, I think of all the trips only 2 were that time frame when snow is issue. Of course there was the year in April we got a northeastern storm and our plane sat to get deiced for so long we were beginning to think we were not getting off the ground. And as we slid on the runway taking off it was very scarry. The next flight out to Florida didnt go so we thanked our lucky stars we were able to leave at all. Once above the clouds the sun was bursting thru it was really something taking off with it snowing and blowing and then burst into the sunshine a flight to remember.

Nova, that actually sounds kind of cool-- not the scary part, but breaking out of the storm into the sunlight-- that had to be something to see!
I love going to the parks during the off season, but it does make weather a question. Of course, in this area the weather's a little whimsical (to put it politely) all year. :>
