Is anyone out there running the Princess half? I am starting to get super excited. A co-worker of mine made me a tu-tu to run in, now all I need is a tiara.

Oh please do get a Tiara!! I ran this race in 2010 and it's soooo much fun! Especially when I saw those who were all dressed up. Remember to smile and do your royal wave when you see those photographers!

DH and I are running the 5k on Saturday morning. I'm very excited about running through EPCOT.

MGW _ We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. My family in running the 5K as well on Saturdau. DS and I ran the "UP" 5K last year marathon weekend and had a blast - so much fun running thru EPCOT

yerdoba - Enjoy your 1st half but just a warning - Disney races are addicting. I have done the marathon weekend half twice - After 2 Donald medals I am now craving that Princess Medal.

disney duke - Have you done the EE Race before? I see it on your countdown for this year. My 12 year old son really wants to do this - I am thinking about surprising him with a quick weekend trip to do this.

Hope everyone is staying warm whereever you are!!

Nope, this is the first time. I'm pretty excited about this one, looks to be much more fun than the average 5K race. Plus the medal is cool - it's a compass!! I hope things work out that you and your son can make it!

Thanks everyone!

I got the Disney running bug last year. We happened to be on property during Expedition Everest so a friend and I said, "what the heck! Let's do it!" A TON of fun and a nice little challenge. My friend and I enjoyed the race, from the fireworks, to the cheering, to the lovely bling, that we said, "Let's step it up and do the Princess in 2011."

So we'll pack our families into the minivan and drive down on the 24th.

I'm not going to be running the Princess 1/2, but DH and I will be there for the Royal Family 5K. We're staying at All Star Movies.
