Did anyone else see on the RunDisney Facebook page the announcement? Only available at Expos! New Balance is also the official shoe for the Boston Marathon too! The shoes dont wow me much but they are pretty cool!

Dang it - it says they are VERY limited. I would have LOVED to be able to purchase the Minnie ones for my DD - she is training for her very first DisneyRun marathon, and those would be perfect for her!

I love the Minnie Mouse ones, but I can't justify that kind of money on a pair of shoes. They're what -- $133 a pair?
Yeah thats about average of what I pay for my running shoes. They arent cheap but my feet and legs dont scream in pain when Im done! And for me, that alone is worth the money!

I suppose for runners, those probably are a bargain. I just buy shoes with good arch supports for everyday walking. NB are great, but when I wait for sales to avoid the $65 price tag...

I also read in another board that they sold out already. Only had 1000 made. Not sure if that's true or not, but there ya go.
It's pretty successful, so I imagine there will be more at future expos.

Only 1000?!?!? Are they crazy? When we were in Boston for marathon weekend, they even had stores selling them...hmmmm I am bringing my daughter back to school tomorrow in Boston...might have to make a run to the New Balance store to see if they have any there! Im sure if they sold out, they will make sure to supply them at every expo from this point on!
