Well, I just officially signed up myself and DH to run DDD! I wonder if I am a double ding dong? Needless to say, I am very excited and a bundle of nerves!! I was able to sign up ahead of time through Disney VISA. I have never been to DL so I have a gazillion questions about going there, but I will save them for another day.
So, who else is planning to run in the DDD or DL Half?

I got an e-mail from Disney VISA rewards a couple of weeks ago about it. I am not good with attaching links, but try going on their website and see if you see it there? I can always ask my daughter when she gets back to help me too. Someday I will be better at this computer stuff!

I thought for sure this was out of the question with my DH's job situation. But he just said to go ahead and sign up!!!! If we end up moving for his job at some point in the near future, I can always just change the airport for my flights, but the race is a go!!!!!!

I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible so I'm using our Starwood points at the Sheraton Anaheim. They have a free shuttle and I'll be walking to the back end of the corrals on race days. That way I bypass the pre race party, but that's ok. Been there done that too many times. And I don't bag check anyway. I'll use the hotel shuttle post race though!

I wanted to but I have a cat scan on March 6 to see what the spot on my pancreas is If I need surgery I cant go, so I have to wait & see. I hate to pay then cant go. Do you think it will sell out quick?
No hotel yet for us. I just tried calling the travel co through RunDisney and got a recording that hotel prices would be available by the end of the week. I was surprised that they did not have info. yet. I'm excited to start planning. Keeping fingers crossed that something will be available at VGC when our 7 mo. window opens, but not optimistic based on other postings indicating it is full.
I had a really hard time even logging onto RunDisney a bit ago. I think it is a busy day for them.
