I just checked and I am Corral B!!! I trained really hard over the summer to increase my speed per mile and completed a 10K race. I wasn't happy with my time, so I completed another 10K race in October and hauled butt in order to get a better time to submit for corral placement. I guess the pain and sweat was worth it. I didn't think they would put me in Corral B, but I am not complaining.
I am glad to see they final posted the final instructions -it was about time and I was getting antsy
Wow, corral B, congratulations!! That is a goal of mine. I was in C for the W&D half. Would you mind letting me know what your 10k time was so I have an idea what I would need to run in my 10k this summer? Thanks!!
Good luck to everyone running the Princess half! I'm really hoping to run it myself some day and can't wait to hear your reviews. Misty I hope you feel better soon!
Feel better Misty.
Here's a little inspiration - photos from 3 years ago!!!!

The finish line!!!! Characters rotate every so often, so you never know who you'll see!
And what you've been working so hard for........
Your hard earned MEDAL!!!!
I'm sure they've changed the medals and yours will be way cooler.

@ Misty Hailey- feel better!!!! There is still time to take it easy and get better before the race.
@ Amy L- my 10K time was 1:6:23 (which was a pace of 10:41 per mile). I was hoping to be in corral C or D, so I was really excited when my time was good enough for corral B placement. I hauled butt on that 10K because I wanted to get the best time possible. I was super tired at the end of that race, but I guess it paid off
Start drinking now. If its gonna be that warm, hydrate now. Remember you want your urine to be a nice pale yellow, almost clear. It should still be cool-ish in the AM but once that sun comes up, all bets are off.
Even if you don't train with it (I don't), please start taking the powerade cups after about mile 5 or 6. If you do train with power/gator ade, then drink it as you normally would. They water it down a little anyway, so it shouldn't give you tummy trouble if you're prone to that (I am). Try to take it at every other water table till the finish.
The good news is everyone will be done before the hottest part of the day. So that's good. But your bodies will still be warm, so take it easy! Be sure to drink plenty afterwards, including some powerade - even just 1/4 bottle.
Start drinking now, keep up that pale urine all week long, and your body will be properly hydrated and ready for the challenge next week!
