| Re: Eighteen Again! - Pre-trip You and Erica are a hoot! What a great report, so sorry to see it's coming to an end. Funny, I've never even noticed that Chip and Dale had tales before! Thanks for pointing that out! | Re: Eighteen Again! - Pre-trip Loved the pictures of the Flower and Garden Festival. My family used to go at that time of year, but lately we've missed it. Wish I could make it again! Great update. |

| Re: Eighteen Again! - Pre-trip Ellen's Energy Adventure is our hot and tired ride, too. There were some great pictures of you niece, she looks so sweet, and pretty, too. I think it's great for 18 year olds to get to act six once in a while. Diane |

I your use of words, descriptions, humorous insites, and attention to details. The photos are some of the best I've seen. Your TR is just so enjoyable to read! You are a thoughtful Daughter & Auntie..they're lucky to have you. Your neice will never forget this gift. I'm so glad you two had a "Magical" time together. I hated to see your vacation/celebration end as well. | Re: Eighteen Again! - Pre-trip Day Seven Part Two It Can’t Be Time to Go Home Already! ![]() After Ellen’s dream, we decided to pick up a couple of FPs for Mission Space. The single riders line at Test Track was posted for 10 minutes, so we decided to do that. I mentioned to Erica about how this is the only attraction where I’ve ever seen CMs deliberately split up parties in the single riders line and told her I would pretend I didn’t know her in the final part of the queue and then we’d get to sit together. We did end up in the same car, but I must admit I didn’t notice the CMs trying to split up parties this time. We had fun on TT and Erica enjoyed looking at all the cars at the end. She had me take her picture in a couple. ![]() ![]() On the way out, I saw the most interesting looking tree there. It looked like a sunflower tree. I thought it was pretty so I took a picture of it. I went over and read the little plaque about what kind of tree it was, but I’ve forgotten now (wish I’d taken a picture of that too). ![]() After that, I wanted a snack, so Erica and I shared a pretzel. Once we’d finished, our M:S FP window was open. I asked Erica whether she wanted to do the orange or green side and she wanted to check out the less intense version. It was still realistic, just with no G-forces. I was actually surprised by how good it was, but in the future, I’ll stick with the original unless one line is much longer than the other. After M:S we spent some time making video postcards. I made a silly one that I sent to my DM, that you can see here. Erica wanted to ride SE, so we headed there next. I attempted to get some pics in the ride and did manage to get a few decent ones. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Erica wanted to stay on and find some more Hidden Mickeys, so she stayed on and I jumped off to get a whirlwind tour of the F&GF. I took lots of pictures, but didn’t really stop and explore much, so I really want to take another trip during the F&GF. When I came out of SE, it started to sprinkle a bit, but it never really came down enough to seek shelter (of course, my poncho was safely packed away in my suitcase, so I’m glad of that ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I decided to start at Mexico and work my way back to France since I’d come in through the IG. I called Erica and she was still on SE so she didn’t answer. I left her a message to meet me at the IG. Then I set about on my quickie tour of WS. I hadn’t been to the F&GF since the very first one so I enjoyed seeing WS bursting with color. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Loved the bonsai gardens ![]() This dragon was probably my favorite ![]() ![]() ![]() I have no idea why, but I this shot ![]() ![]() ![]() More bonsai gardens ![]() ![]() This was the coolest display! While I was in Japan, I just had to stop and get a kaki gori. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When I made it to the IG, I called Erica again and she was on her way. I told her to meet me at the YCR. Just as I hung up with her, Chip and Dale came out and I was first in line to see them. ![]() There wasn’t a boat waiting, so I walked back to the Yacht Club. It was pretty sad because this trip was really too short for my liking (at least the Disney part). When I got back to the resort, I called Erica again and she was just getting a boat back. I had one last look around the resort while I waited for her. ![]() My DB was supposed to arrive for Erica at 5:00 and he showed up a little early, so we got our luggage, loaded up and said our goodbyes. I hit the road, but I had to stop and get gas first. My drive to the airport was quick and uneventful and the rental return was smooth. I checked my luggage and hit the food court for something to snack on during my flight. Our plane was running late and didn’t get in until 7:30 (scheduled departure time was 7:10) and we ended up leaving about an hour late. The flight home was practically empty and I had a whole row to myself with no one in front or behind me.
