May 28 to June 3 DAY ONE Wednesday, May 31, Day Four: Part 4 I am late I am late for a very important date!!<font color="purple"> Once I got to GF I had to figure out where I was going in the immense resort. Finally I found the tea room and all the passporter girls I was joining. I apologized [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/sorry.gif[/img] profusely for being late. Apparently they had just sat down which made me feel a bit better. I looked at the menu and decided on the Buckingham with green tea. One of the girls I work with suggested green tea so I decided to try it. Amy’s mom showed everyone how to hold their tea cups with our pinky fingers sticking out. She reminded us that we should sip yet not slurp. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] We made sure we got a group photos because we had forgotten at the prior Passporter meets that trip.        A downpour had fallen a couple of times while we were having tea. Thankfully when we got out the rain was gone. Everything was wet but we were dry! [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/woot.gif[/img] We all said goodbye and I headed back to MK. I still had to ride Dumbo! I walked back toward Adventureland and found Friar Tuck and Robin Hood on the way I then got a FP for Jungle Cruise. I had them both sign the autograph book Sarah (dopeygirl) made for me. I told Robin Hood that we had the same first name he signed the book with my name and also put “happy birthday”. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I have always liked Robin Hood, my married name was Fox so for alittle while I was “Robin Fox” which is the kind of animal that Disney’s Robin Hood is…I had always thought we shared a connection. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] I know I am weird.   It was time for Dumbo! I went back to Fantasyland and got in line! [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/woot.gif[/img] I was able to get a Dumbo with a purple hat and saddle pad! [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I had the ride attendant take my photo.    After Dumbo I got in line for Cindy’s Carousel. I really wanted to ride on Cindy’s horse so I looked for the horse with the gold ribbon on her tail. She is the one of the second horses in so I memorized the outside horse for reference. Finally it was my turn to ride and I walked real fast to where the horse was and jumped on Cindy’s horse before anyone else could! I had such a great time at the tea with you and you weren't really all that late and i just was worried with the rain that something had happened. Glad it was just a flying elephant that delayed you! My mom and i learned about tea on the DCL when we went to Tea with Alice my mom was dying to try out what she learned [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/rofl2.gif[/img] Great report so far keep it coming!   |
