I didn't think anyone was as bad as my dad. At least you didn't have the camera to your face while riding test track. Our picture has my dad's camera up to his face. |

Same goes for the photographers vest, because of what's in it, it usually stays on my back, however, I do occasionally take it off when we sit down to eat...  |

| Re: Halloween Trip 2006: Fun, Friends, and Spooks Part 4 [b] Final Thoughts, Musings, and maybe some more pictures… This was, without a doubt, the bestest trip we’ve ever had. For the most part, the weather was great, the parks were pretty calm and empty, and the company was the mostest, funnest, and greatest group you could ask for… We did regret getting a late start on the first day, we were looking forward to eating at Beaches and Cream with Cheryl and Mark and watching Illuminations, but that’s the way plans happen sometimes. The first few days were a little commando style, but then things chilled. We had fun times with big groups, smaller groups and some “just us” time this trip, unlike Mousefest last year. While Mousefest was fun, there were just so many things to do, so many people to try to meet, and things were just so “overwhelming.” There were many folks that I saw, from afar, recognized from the boards, but never got close enough to, or enough time to, physically meet and talk to. We do wish we had been able to meet some more people this trip, Elaine and Wendy come to mind… We were very happy to meet Barb and Bob, and Mo’s friend Brandy (who would fit right in with this board [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img] ) I did see a male with a Passporter pouch on at Pop the first day we were there, but by the time I realized it was a Passporter pouch (everyone’s wearing a pouch of some kind now) I was at the bus and I don’t remember seeing them again. If that person is reading this, I am sorry… We did a lot, with a lot, and laughed a lot. There was lots of wine and food for those that drink… Lots of photo opportunities for me [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502yes_prv.gif[/img] [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/woot.gif[/img] You see, I am a simple person (and it’s not just because I’m male [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/rofl2.gif[/img] ). As long as I can take photos, I am happy… I’m not a ride person… I AM THE BAGMAN [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/rofl2.gif[/img] Universal Orlando with Cheryl , Mark, Donna and Tara was loads of fun. If you’re planning an extended visit, you should really get over there for a day or so. It’s as much the “dark side” as MGM Studios!!! Tara and Donna talked us into going over last year and it will become something we do every long trip… The parks, this time, weren’t that crowded, the CM’s (for the most part) were much more friendly and appeared to enjoy what they were doing much more than last year. Things actually looked cleaner and the bus transportation was working much better than in the past… All in all, it was great!!! Did I tell you that WE HAD FUN!!!!!!!!!!! We’ll take a short trip or two the early part of 2007, and will look at a longer trip in December when a big chunk of this group come back again. Thank you for reading this mess and looking at the photos. I hope it brought a little happiness into your days, and reminded you of your happy times at your happy place… To close, I am going to share some of Tara photographs with you. It doesn’t look like she’s going to do a trip report. I downloaded her memory card towards the end of the trip so I could burn them to a cd for her, and I have her permission to post them here… MNSSHP Night…     Remember when Donna and I commented on Steve telling every character that I was their biggest fan??? Here’s some of the results of that…   Yes, that’s a laugh…   Mark’s friend…    The Group (Jan is hiding behind Steve…)   10/31…  Donna and her new friend Brea, also from Winnipeg  Hey Bullwinkle…. Errrrr.
