| Live update - Kev's first trip Hi all -- I am waiting for the family to arrive - I made it to SOG, got checked in and just got a call from dad. His plane is on the ground, he's getting the car and heading this way. Mom and Kevin should have just landed in Chicago to change planes and will be on the ground at 750pm. I got checked in without a problem - I am in the new "palm" building and bought the vouchers for Kevin's ticket and my ticket. Not sure what dinner plans look like - all depends on how mom and Kevin feel. I sort of hope we go to DTD so that I can run into Guest Services and exchange it. Dad just called me to say that Hertz may not have the car seat he was supposed to get for Kevin. Guess it is a good thing that I put the booster seat in the trunk - huh? Sometimes Aunt T thinks ahead!! I got all unpacked and am watching the race. Maybe dad and I will run over to DTD and exchange the vouchers after we get his tickets.... we'll see. I brought everything out of the car - except for the case of bottled water and the 2 6-packs of diet coke for my dad. I figured I would get those later. I am making notes on the changes here at SOG (restaurant hours, parking costs, etc) and will post them when I get home. I talked to my sister today - Jolene is miffed that her little brother is at WDW -- and that she is not. DSis doesn't understand why - "she is going on the cruise!!!" - I reminded her that DN is 8 and that doesn't matter. Her brother got something she is not getting....
