Ok So if everyone could please stow all lose items we can taxi a little further down this tarmac towards our departure!

When we left off last time we were on our way towards finding out if we were walking from the airport to the hotel or if a mode of transportation had been secured! Well we had a slight but MAJOR detour in our planning and here is the story that led up to this!

So I had a majorly long day at work and the last thing i had wanted to do was talk on a phone for the rest of the day but once i got home something wasn't going to let that happen! See i saw that Southwest had open its flights for August, September and October! Well curious I looked up Hartford to Orlando for different dates in September, October and found dates that were for $99 each way. Which wasn't horrible and pretty good deal!

So then before I get tooo excited I check on Disneyworld.com to see if there is any availability left for the free dining package at either Caribbean Beach or Coronado Springs because we really would prefer a Moderate hotel! SCORE! Caribbean Beach is available and since I had upgraded our stay in June to CBR changing it might be easier then expected!

So here comes the part that would make or break this very real possibility! I had to call Mom and ask her thoughts about going at this time So.....

1. Dial the number
2. Verify its the RIGHT number
3. Hit Send
SCORE its really her this time

Me: Hey Ma what are your thoughts on September

Mom: Its a nice month lots of fairs, the Big E, I like it why?

Me: How would you feel about going to WDW in September instead of June.. it would mean us staying 7 nights instead of 4 , free dining, and ohhh yeah we could do MNSSHP!

Mom: Sounds good to me whatever you want

So you think if i called her and asked if she could buy me a Convertible she'd tell me the same thing?

So now to see if I could get both things worked out and not screw anything up in the process!

I called Southwest first and asked how to go about changing my airfare the agent says "its simple ". (that should have been a clue that it really wasn't ) She had me go to Southwest.com and click on view/change flight and put my confirmation in and it tells me that its not available... so she has me try again....Nope not happening. She puts me on hold and tells me their system online is down and she can do it for me through her technicians. So she gets them to change the rates and the dates. Well then i realize I probably should have had Disney on hold as well so I could make sure it will meet up with available dates there.

So i grab my mom's cell phone she had gotten home by then. So having Disney's number memorized i dial the number and get put on hold. Its no biggie as southwest still had me on hold trying to fix my airfare. Finally Disney answers and at the same time Southwest does as well. So i explain to southwest then disney what is happening and they both are patient as i talk to both of them at the same time!

So Disney's Agent (slowwwwww as molasses) finally gets it set up far enough that i won't lose the room and works on getting it booked and Southwest puts through the airfare change and i hang up from them.

Its a good thing i don't get flustured dealing with multiple phone calls at one time because that would have been very stressful!

So I get the change for the hotel and then spend the next hour making plans for dinners and breakfasts and such.

So now our Dates look like this:
Tuesday September 11th we fly to Orlando
Tuesday September 18th we fly back home to CT.

We are staying at: Caribbean Beach Resort standard view

Up next.... So does she ever tell us how she is going to get to the hotel or not?

Glaad you can make the switch. September's less crowded than June, too. Free dining is good, too.
