Well here we are 14 days away from mine and Mark’s second trip to Disney and my kids first trip there.
Here is my attempt at a pre-trip report. Have patience with me on this, I have never been very good at reports, lol.
The Cast of Characters will be……..

Ive been planning this trip since Brianne was born. I have told her since she was a baby that I would take her to WDW. When the boys were born I told them the same thing.
For a long time I didn’t really believe that would happen, but after a bad stretch in my life, I met a wonderful man who made me realize that we could do just about anything as long as worked together as a family, so here we are 2 weeks from keeping a promise I made to my children from day one.
Now you have to understand that they, meaning the kids, don’t know we are going and won’t know until the night before we go. That Im excited about that and so is Mark. I think we are as anxious to see the looks on their faces when we tell them as we are about the actual trip, lol.

Im also an very detailed person when it comes to planning a trip, so I have this extreme Itinerary, but the kids will just think it is spur of the moment stuff when we are there. I don’t want them to feel like they are on a mission, but just having fun.

We will be staying at AKL and I cant wait to go back there. As you probably all know by now, Mark and I fell in love with that resort, and couldn’t imagine taking the kids to any other resort for their first trip.

BTW, Ive been packed for a week now, and these last 2 weeks are going to just drag, I know it, lol.

It may take awhile, but I will give a play by play what we actually end up doing there with my trip report.

Hope I did this right, anyway. How about a little happy dance, for making it to the 2 week mark without blowing the surprise or going crazy

Some friends of mine surprised their kids last December near Christmas. Did not tell them until they were on the way to the airport and then gave them Disney related gifts as hints.

We will be staying at a hotel by the airport the night before and are going to tell them we are taking them shopping the following day. We are going to say we have given each of them a certain amount of money and tell them to open their wallets and check. The wallets will contain disney dollars. When they ask what they are, we are going to tell them that those can only be spent at disney, so I guess that is where we will have to go shopping.

That sounds so ! We are keeping our Nov trip a surprise also and are trying to figure out a way to tell the kids (and when to tell them!) We are going with friends and we are going to tell them all together.

Boy you are good, keeping this a secret and then surprising them with the Disney Dollars, I you...................... No way could I have kept our upcoming trip a secret from my DS, DDIL and DGS,

Have the camera or the video recorder ready when you tell them where they are going shopping at, it will be the picture of a lifetime......
