With just 10 days left, I thought it was time for a pre-trip report. I celebrated my 40th at WDW in Dec. 2005. We celebrated Kelley's 16th birthday in August 2006. Now, it's Caroline's turn.

Who is going?
Me:Karen-This is my 7th trip. I never got to go to WDW when I was a child. My first trip was while pregnant with our first child (Kelley). I've been hooked ever since.

DH:Steve-This is his 7th trip with me. He was a lucky child, as he visited WDW several times as a child/teen. He pretty much goes along with whatever I want to do.

DD:Kelley (16)-This is Kelley's 6th trip, 7th if you count the one in utero. She loves the thrill rides, but always has to make time for The Little Mermaid at MGM.

DD:Caroline (13)-Our new teenager. She just turned 13 in April and is the reason for this trip. This is her 6th trip. She's not a daredevil. She takes after me.

When: May 25th-June 3rd

Where are we staying: The first night, we will be at Caribbean Beach. This is our first time staying there. In celebration of the release of POTC3 and because Caroline thought it had a cool pool, we decided to stay here. On May 26th, we will move over to Fort Wilderness. We bought a camper last summer and decided that we must camp at the fort.

Why we are going: In celebration of Caroline's 13th birthday. She actually turned 13 on April 7th, and we were thinking of going then, but it was also Easter week. We knew it would be way too crowded, so she agreed to wait until May.

Things we hope to do: Attend the Flower & Garden Festival for the first time. See a Flower Power concert, probably the one with Peter Noone. Attend Star Wars Weekends for the first time. Okay, I am a HUGE Star Wars fan! I have waited for this for a long time. Our vacations never coincided with SWW. We almost missed this one since they changed the dates to June. So, I just extended our stay to cover the first weekend.

Where are we eating: We did not make ADR's for every meal. Here's what we have:
Saturday: Chef Mickey's for breakfast
Monday: Backstage at Believe with Shamu
Tuesday: Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch
Wednesday: Crystal Palace for breakfast (before the park opens!)
Thursday: Rose & Crown for lunch(our favorite WS restaurant)
Saturday: Sci-Fi for lunch
It will be counter service the rest of the time.

Our plans:
Friday: Arrival day. Hang out at CBR.
Saturday: Move to the fort, Chef Mickey's, Downtown Disney before seeing POTC3
Sunday: Epcot
Monday: Sea World
Tuesday: MK
Wednesday: MK
Thursday: Epcot
Friday: AK
Saturday: MGM
Sunday: Head for home
