1) Digital camera and picture cds - The Picture Makers at MK (Main Street) and DS (Camera Shop as soon as you come through the gates) will be able to put only 120 pictures on one cd. They run about $11.99 US before tax. Epcot (under Spaceship Earth using a transfer device and I don't know how many it will hold but it doesn't have the Kodak software on it
2) Phone numbers - Carry with you (back part of Passporter) your bank(s), travel agent and any other important numbers you need in case something comes up. Be on good terms with your bank. They can help if it seems your card was shut off for some reason.
3) Cell phones - They seemed to be good when your party breaks up and you're trying to meet up within the park somewhere. But please pay attention to those around you. And don't talk business. You're on vacation. Relax.
4) Suitcases - Pack very light for the trip down because you're going to get a lot of stuff coming back. I had to get a second one for my trip home.
5) Pal Mickey - A big help with tips, information and just something to keep you amused when the lines or crowds get too bad.
6) Refillable Mugs - BUY THEM!!!!! They make great souvenirs but they also allow you to get as much as you can drink at the hotels (This year's was generic throughout the resort.)
7) Have fun!!! - Get into the sprirt of the place. Have fun back with the CMs and just go out enjoying the Parks and places. Remember, happiness can be contagious. Also don't yell at the kids. If you're feeling miserable because of the heat/humidity, imagine what it feels like for them. Find a shady place and all sit down.
8) Backpacks/carry bags - Grab an umbrella and keep it in there. You might get wet when the wind blows the rain sideways but it beats sweating and getting wet.
9) Crocs - Best thing I ever bought. I lost no traction in deep puddles inside the shoe or on the pavement. They are comfy and very lightweight. You can get near any of the Croc stands in the Parks or Resorts little things to decorate and personalize them. There is also a Croc store in the airport with more models from flip-flops to enclsoed shoes.

Great TR!! I love your Garden Grill story and the story about the little girl at CP. Sorry about the looong lines for Soarin (that wouldn't bother this chick since I'm never riding it again...almost freaked out on it last time). And how strange about your bags!! It's supposed to happen the opposite way
Great TR, Frank! how you gave the host a hard time at 50sPTC and then your experience with Chip at GG (one of our favorites! ) Maybe they flagged your credit card because you made many purchases outside your local area. That happened to us once, only we got a letter in the mail alerting us upon arrival home.
for sharing your experiences! I've enjoyed reading it!
What a great trip! I loved reading about all your experiences -- especially at GG since we always love the interaction there! We were leaving in that hail storm on the Sunday that you were in MGM. Being in a car was bad enough so I can't imagine being out in it!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful week - - you did it up right and your parting tips were dead on!

Being from New England and all stuff like that doesn't bother me. I was very happy with my Crocs and how my feet didn't slide inside of them AND how I had great grip on the wet pavement even in ankle deep puddles.

I put some pictures up and hope you all enjoy them I'll post a few here.
Mickey, Mickey and me at Breakfastosaurus
One of the lines for Soarin'
Captain Jack
Got this for answering the question at the gift shop: What is inside the Dead Man's Chest? and What was Will Turner's profession?
I'll give you all a chance to answer it and then I'll give the answers I gave and got right.
Also notice that I have my Passporter pouch on. It was a way for others who read the book or bought the pouch to know that we were "family".
