| I think I’m out of control with the whole planning thing?!?! Cast: Me 40 (Nutcase), DH 42 (Chubby), DS 19 (Free Spirit), and DD 14 (Ms. Popular) When: August 26-September 1 Where: WDW Wilderness Lodge - Woods view (first time at WL...so excited!!) Why: We were originally going because my husband and I just graduated (him with an MBA, and me with a B.A.). But now, it’s because he just got an AMAZING NEW JOB!!! Anyway, my DH a.k.a. “Chubby,” loves massages. So, I just made a booking at Mandara Spa at the Dolphin. One our arrival day (8/26), we will check out WL, and then walk over to Ft. Wilderness. Ms. Popular is an animal freak, so I thought she would enjoy seeing the petting zoo and the horses. Then we’ll have a late dinner at Spoodles. Day 2 (8/27), we’ll park hop. I thought we would catch lunch in DTD at Earl of Sandwich (one of my favorites). And then at 7:00 pm, it’s off to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue for a fantastic evening of slap stick humor. Believe it or not, DS “Free Spirit” loves the Hoop-Dee-Doo. He’s 19, and didn’t want to go on our last trip. He said it sounded “stupid,” but when I started planning this trip, he asked if I would please include it again. Day 3 (8/28), park hop again, and then lunch at Sci-Fi. I thought the Sci-Fi would be a great break from the August heat. It’s so dark and cool, and I just love the drive inn theme. Then off to the Pirate & Princess Party at the MK. DAY 4 (8/29), no parks! We decided to take a day off from the parks and sleep in. When we do get up, I thought we would go over to OKW and rent bikes for an hour to check out the resort for a future trip. Then off to the Poly to rent Sea Raycers before a late lunch at Ohana. Then I thought we would go to Ft. Wilderness for the Sing-a-long with Chip and Dale, and then watch whatever movie is playing. Day 5 (8/30), park hop with a late dinner planned at Boma. Day 6 (8/31), park hop with a late dinner planned at California Grill for the fireworks. Day 7 (9/1), no parks. Last day...time to go home. Massages planned and High Tea at he GF. I seemed to kinda fizzle out there at the end?? I feel like I need to plan more, but then I feel over planned at the same time...maybe I am a Nutcase! MUST PLAN MORE... ![]()
