Just getting caught up again, Tanya. I am glad things have setled down and you are all enjoying yourselves! Breakfast at CRT looked great and you accomplished quite a bit in Fantasyland, too. Hope Barry doesn't spoil your afternoon!

Just catching up with your entire trip report! I can so sympathize with your IL situation because we've tried to do the same with both sets of our parents and the magic just isn't taking (although my Dad is the best of the bunch). You've got the right attitude by just letting it roll off of your back and finding time to enjoy yourself!
After conquering Fantasyland, we decided to see how bad the line was for Haunted Mansion, and there wasn’t one at all! This is actually one of Pete’s favorite rides but he volunteered to stay with the little ones while I went with Jaden, Carol and John. We walked right in and I had to carry Jaden for the beginning part. She was OK once we were on the ride, but I just had to keep telling her what was coming up next so she wouldn’t get scared. She actually laughed at the head in the glass ball, “That looks so funny, mom, there’s no body!!” When we were exiting, Pete said that Scottie Pippen (ex-NBA) was there with a private guide and entered through the exit shortly after we entered. Sure enough, I turned around to look and there he was with his kids and wife. They picked up their rented stroller (I guess even VIPs use them too!) and off they went. Man, he sure is tall!! Well, next I went to get fastpasses for Thunder Mountain. Jaden had been talking about riding this for the past couple months and was sure she could do it. So I got 2 FP and we head over to Tom Sawyer Island. I always like coming here. A little bit of peace in the middle of chaos. So the girls both took potty breaks and Wyatt got a little cranky here. He was either hungry or tired. Jaden and I watched Thunder Mountain go around a few times from this good vantage point and she started to change her mind. The FP’s were ready, so we took the little boat (what is that called anyway?) back to the mainland and Jaden started to get clingy and quiet. We whispered back and forth to each other and she admitted that she was too afraid to ride it. I knew she would be!! No big deal, I gave them to somebody else and we decided to cross back over to Belle’s story time.
On this long trek across the kingdom, all the kids fell asleep. Good thing, it was about a 20 minute wait for the show anyway. Pete and Carol went to get glasses of ice for our soda’s we brought in the park and we had a little refreshment. It was about 1pm now and starting to cloud up a bit at this point but still no rain. Yea!! Wyatt woke first and woke up crabby. He wanted his bottle and wanted it now!!! I think his screaming woke up Jaden and Camille too, but that’s OK because the show was about to start. Much to my happiness, and Jaden’s fear, they picked her out of the crowd to participate in the story!! I’m sure it was because she was wearing her birthday button. Oh yea, I haven’t mentioned much about that. Cast members had been saying to her all day happy birthday and how old are you and she just gets all shy and quiet and ignores them all. Again, her personality. Anyway, Jaden didn’t really want to be up there and they had to pull her arm around to get her to move. When it was all over, she just about started crying from the pressure or stage fright or whatever until I told her it was time to ride Goofy’s Barnstormer. She was excited about that, so off we went.
First we toured Minnie’s house and Mickey’s house. The girls always like to do that, and Carol thought it was really cute too. So while Jaden and I waited in line for the coaster, the rest of the group took the train around the park. The line for Barnstormer said 20 minutes, but it was more like 8. And we were so lucky that they put us in the front car, Jaden absolutely loved that!! It’s such a cute little kiddie coaster. We waited at Donald’s boat house and water pad for the train to return, and again Jaden got nice and wet!! With all of us back together, we headed over to Buzz Lightyear for fastpasses, and while waiting for that, Pete and John took Camille and Jaden on the Indy Speedway. Carol and I watched from the viewing area and took the traditional photos. From up here, I felt our first little raindrops. But they were few and far between. Our FP’s were ready for Buzz and we always love that ride. I let John steer the car for Camille and me and he didn’t really ever position us correctly for many good shots. But I’m sure he had fun all the same. By now, it was about 20 minutes till our dinner ADR at Crystal Palace so we walked over there and caught the end of the parade. We finally got to see Belle in her yellow gown!! The girls were happy about that. By now the rain was getting pretty steady. So while I was checking in for dinner, Pete covered up the double stroller with those garbage bags we grabbed from the condo. He also grabbed our rain gear and then our name was called for dinner.
Dinner was good. Nothing spectacular, but good. It was more enjoyable for everyone else; they all liked it very much. Seafood, multiple trips to the buffet and watching the characters. I had to feed Wyatt, take pictures, cut the girls food and made sure they actually ate something, and I only got one trip to the buffet. So it wasn’t totally worth it for me. But the characters made up for that! We usually come here for breakfast and at that time also, the characters are just the best here. The best!! Piglet and Pooh made a special point to play with Wyatt. And Eeyore liked my shirt – I wore it especially for this day of course! Tigger bounced with Camille and we all enjoyed them very much. Our server brought out another cupcake for Jaden when he saw her button, so she got 2 cupcakes in one day! It was a very enjoyable meal, but next time I’ll stick to breakfast. I just like breakfast food better anyway!
When we left here, it was raining pretty good, but not hard enough to stop me. But apparently it was hard enough to stop Carol and John. I asked if they wanted to hit Jungle Cruise and Pirates since these are classic Disney rides and everyone should do it. But they didn’t want to walk in the rain. Isn’t that why we all are wearing ponchos and have umbrellas??? But I digress….. So we headed down Main Street towards the exit, with one stop in the candy shop so Carol could buy a couple cookbooks.I honestly don’t remember what we did the rest of that night. We must have just hung out at the condo and relaxed. I do remember that Pete received a phone call from his bass fishing charter company cancelling tomorrow’s adventure due to the tornado watch that was in effect. He had been looking forward to this all week and now he couldn’t go. I bet now he wished he had listened to my advice a month ago when I said he should do it some morning during the week and then meet up with us at the park afterwards. Oh well. Coming up tomorrow, Cape May character breakfast and some shopping!

We arrived at Disney this very day. The rain started a few hours after we got to MK, but we had left the ponchos back in the room not realizing what the weather was going to be like.
Cool that you saw Scottie Pippin - - I'll have to tell DH that we were there on the same day! Glad that you were able to fit a lot in before the rain began.
Great update and your pictures are so cute! How cool that you saw Scottie Pippen! I once saw his former teammate Dennis Rodman coming out of the Plaza Restaurant. Looking forward to more.

Your in-laws remind me of my parents. We took one trip with them to WDW 20 years ago when our DS was 4 1/2 and it was the trip from you know where. Never again!
I'm looking forward to more of your trip report! Your kids are just adorable!
