| The "I've never been to Disney for 10 days before" Trip Report Thread 2 Updated 8/26 - COMPLETE Monday, June 4 Day Four Maddie’s late night the night before had apparently caught up with her because I was the first one up this morning. I showered and had my coffee made before anyone else even stirred. Our ADR at H&V Play ‘N Dine wasn’t until 9:30, but it was still a chore getting my family out the door every morning with enough time to actually get us where we were going. It got to be comical after a while because we were always at least five minutes late for every breakfast ADR, but as Thom would say “it always worked out in the end.” Before we left for MGM this morning, the girls and I went out on the living room balcony to check out our view in the daylight. Since our room was on the top floor, our balcony was built into the roof as it had been in WL. Instead of being able to look down at the ground below us, we really could only see the slanted green roof. It really didn’t obstruct the view since I don’t spend time on a balcony looking straight down at the ground and it was actually pretty cool because you felt as if you were in a little world all your own up there. That morning, I was holding Maddie where she was about at chest level to the balcony. All of a sudden, her passie popped out of her mouth, rolled down the roof and landed in the gutter. Once our bus dropped us at MGM, Thom grabbed a stroller while I went ahead with the girls and checked us in. We were all excited about this breakfast since we had such a wonderful experience and delicious breakfast there back in October. By the time that Thom arrived with the stroller (and we immediately noticed that we had a hard plastic stroller in MGM now instead of the umbrella type stroller), we were being called. I’ve noticed that most of the CM’s just say “Jill” now instead of attempting our last name. We were seated to the left hand side of the restaurant which wasn’t even half full. As soon as we were seated, Thom took Mary Devall up to the buffet and brought back a plate for Maddie also. I then took my turn and indulged in bacon, a biscuit and pancakes among other things. Almost as soon as we were all situated with food, the singing and dancing commenced right in front of us. When Thom was packing the backpack this morning, I had told him to just leave the video camera in the room since I didn’t see us needing it today. Big mistake because Mary Devall sang and danced her heart out all morning. We took as many pictures as we could to try to capture some of her performance. In between character greetings, there were three separate occasions for Mary Devall to get up and dance and she participated every time. She was in her element. ![]() The CM who was leading the singing and dancing on our side of the room was excellent. She interacted so well with the children and really brought a lot of them out of their shell (although she didn’t have to worry about that with Mary Devall ![]() Maddie was apparently totally over her initial hesitation with the characters because she loved seeing June, Leo, Jo Jo and Goliath. I just can’t wait until she can get out there and dance too. One funny moment that happened was when Leo approached the table next to us. Several of the young adults at the table had piercings and/or tattoos, but Leo took particular interest in one of the guys. He picked up his tattooed arm and studied it before he motioned for a pen to add his autograph to the tattoos. He never actually wrote on his arm, but it was a hoot to watch him considering it. The look on the guys face was priceless. Who knew Leo was such a kidster? ![]() What I was really looking forward to at this breakfast was the apple crumble with the warm vanilla sauce. I made sure to leave room for that! It was as wonderful as I remembered. Thom tried the bread pudding with the vanilla sauce and wasn’t too keen on the bread pudding, so I urged him to give it a second try with the apple crumble. He was a happy man after that. Continued in next post . . .

| After the final number where Mary Devall did the “cha cha cha,” the CM came over and gave her a high five and said “Thank you, my cha cha sister!” ![]() ![]() We paid OOP for this breakfast and used our DDE discount instead since we had another TS meal at dinner. Once our bill was paid, we moved outside and instantly heard the approach of the High School Musical Pep Rally. Since we had never seen it, we followed along with the crowd. We were towards the back of the crowd, so Thom hoisted Mary Devall to his shoulders so that she could see. Oh my gosh, this is the cutest show! We had such fun listening and dancing to the music (at the time, we were High School Musical illiterate so we didn’t know enough to sing along Next up . . . I get up close and personal with a villian
