We walked around WS and headed for Italy. We had decided to do Alfredo's for lunch, since we knew it was closing soon and this was going to be our last opportunity to eat there. We gave our name and were soon seated....waaaaaayyyyy in the back.... Hmm......did someone call ahead about us? I believe Disney keeps a big list of Passporter names that pop up in red when ADR's are made with the words "Sit them away from all humanity" as the tag. We were seated near a few tables, but soon, even they gave up and left.
Lunch started out innocently enough. We ordered drinks, and then lunch. We all ordered the Fettucine, and Steve put the camera down long enough to order an appetizer size potion of Fettucine and spaghetti and meatballs for lunch. Steve also ordered wine.....
Our CM, Natale, was really wonderful and definitely got into the quiet, sedate spirit of this group. He brought us our meal, and it was great!
Jan trying to hide:
Yes, Bill does eat:
Then it was time for dessert. Natale asked if we wanted to see the dessert tray, and of course, Steve said "Yes!" Natale made the mistake of putting the entire tray in front of Steve:
who just assumed it was another buffet. Hey, we had just come off a cruise, after all!
Suddenly Natale told Steve to wait a minute, he had something better for desssert! Steve sat there patiently waiting, and Natale appeared with what had to be the biggest cannoli I have ever seen!
Holy Cannoli!
Steve was ready to pounce with his knife and fork in hand! I think Natale got it out of there just in time before it was gone. We chose a more sedate dessert and Steve ordered a lemonicello (sp?) drink with his dessert. It was strong, but good...or so he claimed. He let Donna take a taste...
OK, that was enough for me not to try it!
Natale was not quite done with Steve..
Little ears...
Big ears...
Bill reaching for??? an ear, maybe?
Lunch was wonderful, we laughed for almost an hour and a half.
We left Italy and wandered around the world. I took a few more pictures:
A local:
We walked around towards Canada, where we found a few hidden Mickeys. We hop-scotched in the UK. We rode the new ride in Mexico, and came out and had Fiesta Margaritas (salt for me, sugar for Steve.) By now, the day was really catching up with us, and we decided to head back to the room for a little R & R. We were going to catch up with everyone at Illuminations later, including a few new Passporter frineds! We grabbed the monorail back, and were soon at our lovely room. I took a nap, Steve took a shower, and we woke up much refreshed.
It was twilight, and the view outside our room had changed a little:
The Magic Kingdom at twilight...could it get any better??

And you forgot to mention that not only did they put us in the BACK of the restaurant, but by the time we left, all the tables around us had vacated and we were alone
I wonder why that happens to a nice quiet little group like us all the time
That view from your room is amazing!!!!!
What a great lunch!!!
More pls!!!!!!!!!!

Hum, let me try and remember. October 2006, PPs at MNSSHP at LTT. After THAT night I know why you guys might be on the list to be seated "away from humanity". Oh, wait a minute, October 2006, I was there too! Opps, guess I'll have to behave myself from now on so that I don't have to sit in the netherlands!
Great updates, can't wait for more. You make us all feel like we are there sharing the experiences with you.
I am all caught up with your land portion of your trip!! The view from your room is outstanding!!!! Looks like you had a great time at Alfredo's!! How cool to meet up with Passporters!! Can't wait for more!!
