| Highlights from Fun in the Sun with Carly, Nate and Ashley Ok - I never finish a trip report......sorry! But I had so much fun on my August trip - and I did some new things, I just wanted to share some highlights of my Fun in the Sun Trip! We left Naples at around 6:15 a.m. - 45 minutes later than planned! Our trip up I 75 to I 4 was smooth and we arrived to the magical world of Disney by 9:45 a.m. Of course when Carly and I saw the first signs for WDW - we clapped and danced in our seats! Once we pulled up to the front, of course we were met by those nice valet guys - they took our luggage (I had it stored, because I NEVER dreamed that my room would be ready by 10:00 in the morning on a Saturday!) Once inside, I took in a deep breath of Disney resort magic! YES! I was at WDW and all I could do was SMILE! Here are a few pics of our room and view! ![]() ![]() ![]() In the last picture, you can see that right below our room were the beautiful cottage suites. I just love the gardens and white picket fences around the entrance to each of the cottages! They are so romantic! We called for our luggage - and it came within 5 minutes! The bellman asked us how we got into our room by 10:30 on a Saturday morning! We told him it was the Disney magic! We decided to head to Epcot and hope that we could ride Soarin or get a fast pass. Our room was not far from the elevators and the stairway to the Boardwalk area. We enjoyed our walk to Epcot....even though it was VERY HOT! I must admit - the walk from Beach Club is shorter - but we took pictures along the way! Carly had to get her AP and Ashley had to get her ticket yet. So, we stopped at the ticket booth and of course both of the ladies inside the booth were very chatty! Finally, we used our tickets and headed through the International Gateway, past the beautiful UK area and into Future World. Soarin - HERE WE COME!

| Once we got to Future World, we headed immediately to Soarin. The stand by line was long, so we went to get a fast pass. Once we had those in hand, we headed to The Land for our journey through the Disney gardens! I love this attraction! We then decided to head to Beaches and Cream, because we were HUNGRY! Beaches and Cream is one of my favorites - it just always hits the spot! We all ordered the cheeseburger plate, I had fruit, everyone else had fries. I had a vanilla coke ( I never drink soda - but I love vanilla coke - so I indulged!), Carly had a chocolate shake and Nate and Ashley had.......water .Here is a picture of my meal. ![]() The grapes were absolutely wonderful! Once we were all completely stuffed, we headed back to Epcot for our ride on Soarin! I don't care how many times I ride this - it never gets old. I love Soarin!!!! I walk away from the ride with a huge smile plastered all over my face! We then headed over to Test Track and waited in the stand by line. We probably were in line about 20 minutes - even though the time outside said the wait time was 40 minutes. Once we had tested our vehicle, we headed back to the Boardwalk Inn to unpack, do a little swimming and rest up a bit. The temperature was oppresively HOT! The walk to Boardwalk seemed long. We had an ADR for Whipering Canyon at 5:30. I made everyone aware that we would need to be down at the bus stop by 4:30 to catch a bus to a park and then head to WL from there. We said that whatever bus came first is what we would get on! With plans made, I unpacked and got settled in to my "home" for the next 6 days. Carly worked on postcards, Nate and Ashley napped. (these kids are 21 years old - and all they wanted to do was nap! The time had come for us to get to the bus stop. We headed down the walkway and here came a bus - for the Magic Kingdom! WOW - how great is that? By the time we picked up guests from the Swan and Dolphin - we were at the MK by 5:00. I had made the decision that I wanted to ride the boat over to WL. So - we hustled our way to the dock and probably waited no more than 5 minutes for a boat. On the boat ride there was a family sitting in front of Carly and I who were taking video of their ride and the wife was making the husband promise on camera that he would bring his family back to WDW one year from that day! Carly and I piped in that we would be their witnesses that he agreed to another family vacation in a year at WDW! It was too cute! Once we arrived at WL we looked all around the pool area and then I showed the kids all of the great things in the lobby! I LOVE WL! ![]() We took pictures by the famouse totem pole! At that point, I went and checked us in to the very busy Whispering Canyon! Carly headed for the pressed pennie machines and Nate and Ashley sat in the lobby taking in the atmosphere!
