| Sounds like such a fun trip! You're a great aunt for planning all of this. We've never been to Boma but I've heard good things about it. Let us know how you decide to surprise your niece.

| Your plans look great. I've heard good things about breakfast at Boma but we haven't had the pleasure of trying it though. Good luck with the planning.

| I guess I should have never thought I could make one call to Disney dining and be through with the planning. Originally we were planning on leaving on Wednesday at 3 PM when Mallory got back from school then driving for 8-9 hours sleeping at a Holiday Inn 3 hours outside of Orlando waking up the next morning and driving the rest of the way….well ….Mallory got her report card back yesterday and she had very good grades for the last 9 weeks …so my mom is allowing her to miss Wednesday sooooo….new plan! We will leave Wednesday at 3:00 AM and drive to Orlando arriving at around 4 PM (with stops and time change). I made a room only reservation for the Pop Century that night…so we will be all checked in and get a full 4 days of WDW. So here is our newly revised plan including new ADR’s and such…. Wednesday October 24 Wake up call 2:30 AM Leave at 3:00 AM Breakfast/lunch in car Arrive at 4 PM -check in /unpack Eat dinner at DTD, Mallory really wants to eat at Earl of Sandwich Back to POP early for sleep Thursday October 25 Wake up Call 7:15 AM Breakfast (in room or food court) Get to EPCOT @ 9 AM for open ~Soarin ~Test Track ~Nemo ~ect Have lunch at Food and Wine Festival Head back to POP @ 1PM rest/swim Head back to EPCOT @ 3:30 PM ~WSC ~ect. Dinner @ Akershus 7:50 PM Illumination @ 9 PM Back to POP Friday October 26 Wake up call 7:15 AM Breakfast (in room or food court) Get to AK for 9AM open ~Everest ~Safari ~Dinoland Lunch @ Flametree ~Lion King ~Nemo Ect. At 2PM head back to POP rest/swim At 6PM meet rest of family (brother, sister n law, nephew(4)) @ WL and head to MNSSHP together After MNSSHP back to POP Saturday October 27 Wake up call 6:30 AM Breakfast (in room or food court) Get to MGM for 8 AM EMH ~RnRC ~TOT ~Muppets ~Beauty and the Beast @ 10:45 show Back to POP at 11:30 AM lunch/rest/swim At 1 PM head to AK and stay till 5 PM close From AK take bus to MK Dinner @ Crystal Palace at 6:20 PM Spectro Magic @ 8 PM Stay till MK close (if not to exhausted) Sunday October 28 Wake up call 6:30 AM Breakfast (in room or food court) Get to MK @ 8AM for EMH Eat lunch CS Back to Resort @ 12:30 PM Rest/swim Afternoon open(EPCOT,MK,SHOPPING) Dinner @ 5:30 at Yatchman's Steakhouse (Anniversary dinner) Head to MGM try to make Fantasmic…stay at MGM until 10:30 close Back to POP Monday October 29 Depart 9 PM Next ...Do you believe in Magic?

| So now that all of our ADR’s are made and we have general outline of how we want our days to go on our upcoming vacation…I decided to share a little more detail about the hows and whys of our upcoming trip…. As you know from reading the beginning of my PTR it all started when my brother was taking his family on a surprise short weekend trip and called and asked my advice on where to stay (because ummm…who else would he ask but me who is non-stop offering up Disney facts and trivia at any given moment)…I suggested the WL and the Polynesian b/c he wanted to be close to the MK…he finally made a reservation a WL…he never asked if I wanted to come along on the trip but I told him I really would love to go and see my Max’s (my 4 yo nephews) face when he saw the castle for the first time ect. So I told DH I really wanted to go…and he looked at me like I had absolutely lost my mind. WHY? Heres the back-story…. Ben’s mom was diagnosed with Leukemia in April and since April our lives have been on hold …Ben is an only child and really the only family his mom has so he took a leave of absence from work and we took care of her through numerous chemos, hospital stays, trips to the clinics, trips to MD Anderson…ect…on one trip to MD Anderson we discovered her cancer had gone into remission…we were all so excited that we took a spontaneous road trip straight from MD Anderson in Houston to the Grand Canyon (the Grand canyon is my DMIL’s favorite place) ![]() …to celebrate! We had a wonderful 4 days before we had to head back to Louisiana for my DMIL to start a couple of round of chemo to ensure her remission. Ben was finally able to go back to work last week…and my DMIL is due for 2 more rounds of chemo…which I will be taking care of her though. Not only were we being care givers but we were also remodeling my DMIL’s home….that has been empty for the past 7 years (she lived in an apartment 2 hours away for her job…she just retired this summer). So we have been painting, pulling carpet, and making sure the house is in tip top shape for her to move back in to in the next month or so. So with all that said the question of going to Disney World was well out of the question…I told Ben I wanted to go knowing good and well we couldn’t afford it b/c he had just started working again…and then on the way to LOWES alone with his mom he mentioned the trip…and she told us to go that she would pay for it…just like that…(Ben tried to get her to come with us but she really doesn’t understand our love for WDW she thinks its all lines and humidity) So as soon as Ben was in the car alone he called me on my cell phone… Ben: Guess What? Me: Huh? ( I was painting at the time) Ben: Were going to Disney World? Me: What!!!!! Oh My God I have to make our ADR’s! So we are going to Disney World and as you know I invited my little sister and I am surprising my niece with the trip (my mom is paying for my sister and my niece). It means a lot to Ben and I that his mom is giving us this trip as a sort of thank you! She is a wonderful women who already has beaten breast cancer and is now fighting another battle with Leukemia….and I know she will come out a winner because she is one of the strongest people I have ever met. to be continued....Anniversary presents?
