Oh, I'm so excited that your plans are all coming together, not much longer now! I'm sure that the packing will work itself out, don't worry. I was really touched by the story of your DMiL. You and your DH are so deserving of this trip, it is so kind of her to send you! I hope that she is doing well.

As I was in the midst of mentally packing and trying to keep some of the many secrets for this upcoming trip secret…I decided no matter how I worked my schedule I would not be able to fit Fantasmic in to our vacation plan…We were arriving on Oct 24 but that was a room only …our package didn’t start until the 25 and every night we had something planned…

Oct 25-Akershus and Illuminations
Oct 26-MNSSHP
Oct 27 -Jiko, Spectro Magic, Wishes
Oct 28-MNSSHP

I really wanted to see Fantasmic again b/c it was not showing for many of the nights of our honeymoon last year so we missed it…I really love this show and I wanted my niece to see it…not to mention that its Mallory (my little sisters) favorite show…she is constantly playing the music from it.

So I began to wonder if it was worth it to add Oct 24 to our package so we could go to MGM the day we arrived and see Fantasmic…my DH though this would cost an arm and a leg to change…but when I told him it was only going to be like $6.00 to add this day to both of our tickets he said to do it!

Well I called Disney and the only way they could add this is if we added dining as well,,,it was going to be like $62.00 for DH and I and $52.00 for my niece and sister…we decided to go ahead and add it….which made me really excited of course.

When I added this to my package the Disney CM on the phone convinced me to book my extra sit down dinner with her right away…b/c ADR’s were going FAST.
So I checked to see if there was any Fantasmic Dining Packages left(nope)…she mentioned the Sci-Fi Diner (my DH dislikes the food here. So nope) and then she said what about an early EPCOT dinner so she made me a reservation for 4:30 PM@ Tutto Italia ….as soon as I got off the phone I realized this wasn’t going to work for me….

I knew I didn’t want to be under the constraints of a sit down meal the day we got there… we want to get a quick meal at MGM and try to experience some of the park.

So what to do with this extra sit down meal?
And then I did a greedy thing I called and booked the KONA CAFÉ for breakfast on October 26 @ 8:10 AM. I have been wanting to try Tonga toast since the first time I read about it and I love to get in a trip to the Poly whenever I can….So I told my little sister first about the new plans and she was excited …she can care less where we eat as long as she gets Earl of Sandwich once during the trip…and then I called DH to tell him ….he usually hates the idea of going eat a sit down breakfast…but he heard how excited I was and he let is slide…

So in a vacation filled with secrets and surprises for everyone else …I got something I really wanted a breakfast at KONA!!!! Yippy and a extra day of parks!!!!
