| Breaking the Tradition On Dry Land Pre Trip Report! This trip report actually starts with a 7 day cruise aboard the Disney Magic, to read my pre trip for it please click here: http://www.passporterboards.com/foru...se-report.html Who’s going to WDW: Me, Angela 14th Trip To WDW DH, Scott 18th Trip to WDW DS, Logan 12th Trip to WDW DM, Sandy, 1st ever trip to Disney When: October 13-15 Where: Coronado Springs Resort So here are the plans: After a wonderful 7 day cruise on the Disney Magic, we will head over to WDW for two nights. We booked a room at Coronado Springs just a couple of weeks ago. It has been a waiting game to see if my mom could get off from work. At one point, we had cancelled the idea entirely but last week she got approval so we are heading over to WDW as soon as we get off the ship. We are still in the decision phase about whether to check into the resort first or go straight to Epcot. We are leaning toward going straight to Epcot first to secure a fast pass for Soarin. My mom can’t go to Epcot for the first time without riding it. We may stay part of the day there and then go check into the resort. We will then head back over for the Food and Wine booths, the World Showcase, and Illuminations. We do have an ADR for lunch at Chefs de France. We tried for Le Cellier more than once but with no luck. I am wishing now that I had made a just in case ADR but I didn’t.Sunday ,we will probably spend some time at Coronado Springs during the day and let Logan swim. He loves the pool and slide there. We will eat lunch at the Pepper Market and head over to MK for the MNSSHP at 4:00. We are determined for my mom to see as much of MK as possible that evening. I think the party will be fun for her and at least we won’t break the tradition of Food and Wine and the Halloween party. In case you didn’t read the cruise pre-trip, DH has basically entitled this trip a break in tradition because for several years, we have spent Logan’s fall break at WDW. The cruise has thrown him off of our normal routine. Being experienced Disney cruisers, I know he will have a great time despite our break in tradition. We will leave for home on Monday after having breakfast with Stitch at Ohana’s. Logan chose this meal to treat his grandma to a character meal at WDW. So there it is short and sweet. A couple of days to satisfy our Disney craving after the cruise. I just realized today that we will spend time for the next three months at WDW. We will be there a couple of days in October, a couple of days at the end of November, and a couple of days at the beginning of December. Hopefully, this will help DH come to terms with giving up our normal week in October for the cruise!! More to come after the trip!
