| Updated 10/01 Day 1 part 5 Well we got all the way to our room, with the 2 suitcases, 2 carry on bags, 2 purses and then realized that in all our rushing we had forgotten the folder she gave us at check in which had our ROOM KEYS!!! In it! So another “rock paper scissors” competition happened and well Mom Lost and she went and got them since I was wearing a white shirt and well lets just say that wouldn’t have worked out well if I had gone at least for the Family feel of the resort So she ran over getting soaked but got the keys and came back over we opened the door and finally we were in our room at Disney World and we were on VACATION!!! We took photos and tried to get dry and figure out what to do since it was Pouring and hitting Pleasure Island in the rain was not what we had wanted but we figured it would end soon or we would just watch tv all night So I sat and wrote trip report notes and took photos and mom laid down after changing clothes and drying off. We watched tv for a bit catching the weather and news. Here are photos from our room: The Rain ![]() Our Room in Rock Inn: It looked like the furniture was new and the rug had been washed that day and it was very nice but it hadn’t had the privacy curtain put in yet. ![]() Mom Chillaxin and Trying to get warm ![]() The restroom ![]() Our Hidden Mickey ![]() So about an hour later after checking out our Room (#3454 a lovely 1st floor corner room with a courtyard in front and right near the parking lot but the location was great and we enjoyed it) the rain stopped and we debated about going over to Pleasure Island. We wanted to do something so we packed our umbrellas, and our ponchos and headed over to the car and drove over to Downtown Disney and parked right near the Mannequin’s club and bought our admission tickets. We got the Multi-club tickets and headed up the hill stopping at Harley Davidson’s Store and took photos of me on the motorcycle’s and then headed over to the Comedy Warehouse whose show was in about 10 minutes. We were waiting with about 5 other people and headed over got in line and got our tickets checked and our wristbands. Five minutes later we were being seated front row by the stage! The best seats we ever got in there because we were picked for a skit answer and it was probably the most hilarious thing ever! They asked for a dead author or poet and chose me. Well I gave Edgar Allen Poe, and the other lady gave the answer of Queen Elizabeth and they had to do a Short story about Hawaiian Tropics and well they had to say it in Queen Elizabeth style part of the time and Edgar Allen Poe’s the Raven style the other part. It was Hilarious! Me Harley Style: ![]() Comedy Warehouse: ![]() ![]() After Comedy Warehouse we went over to the Adventurer’s Club and made our way downstairs to the bar area and sat down. I got a non alcoholic Kungaloosh and that was a great start to our vacation. I would have gotten the regular version but I’m a lightweight and it was way too strong for me. We had a great time though we had a few actors come out and interact with us and then we went into the Library and the Mask room for a few skits there. We wanted to stay longer but by now it was really late and we were tired. Adventurer’s Club ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We headed back to ASMu and to our room and set the alarm hitting the hay as soon as we got in because we were going to get up early to check out and check into Saratoga Springs in the morning. Up Next… I guess that wasn’t set right and Welcome Home! Its Day 2!
