| This was the hardest part of my TR to write, I cried the whole way thru, and I realized I had made a lot of spelling errors, so if you see any, it because I was crying.... and they were tears of joy from all the Disney Magic that was being spread around...... It truly was the most wonderful birthday I have ever had. I grew up in a family of 6 kids, my father was in the Army, back then they did not get paid very much, and payday was only once a month. So birthdays were just a cake with my 4 brothers and sister. As a 12yr old I always wanted to have my birthday at Disney World, so since this was my very first birthday trip, I was 12 Grumpy asked me the other day, as I was writing and crying, what did I think when he first took me there on our Honeymoon. I told him the same thing I still think today, 18 1/2 yrs later, that it is still the most wonderful, magical place on Earth.

| Okay now back to our regularly scheduled TR. Back at our room we packed a few items, showered, changed clothes and headed back to MK for EEH. First stop we headed to Adventureland, to ride Jungle Cruise, took some photos as went around the hub. Boy Jungle Cruise was popular that night, the wait was 20 minutes when we arrived, but by the time we got off the ride it was up to 60 minutes. We were hungry and wanted a Hot dog at Casey’s, We split a hot dog with sauerkraut and mustard. I forgot to take a picture, but boy those hot dogs are large. We went and sat by the Plaza restaurant and ate our meal. We noticed that a crowd had already started to grow, and there was no space available around the hub, so asked a CM where was the best place to go and he said head to Frontierland for a good spot. So right across the bridge we found a spot, across from the Christmas Shoppe, there was lots of space and only one man standing there, we asked was it all saved he said no just his wife and daughter. They showed up and it was their daughter Ericka’s birthday also. He was from Philly and the wife was from Baltimore and they now lived in Baltimore. Ericka entertained us a song while we waited for the parade to begin “In My Own Little Corner” from Rodgers & Hammerstein Cinderella. The mother said that she was marching in the Philly Christmas Parade with her dance class. Spectromagic Parade rolled by us, it was amazing, this was the first time we had seen the parade. I thought it was just beautiful. When Ursula came by Ericka yelled out her name and Ursula spun around and said to her “Ericka, What a deal I have for you” The mother and I just laughed. It shocked us all that Ursula could see her name on her birthday button. Grumpy got some great photos. IMG012.jpg After the parade we headed for HM to ride again. Once again we were not disappointed. We headed towards Fantasyland and the restroom, Wishes was beginning, so we headed toward Tomorrowland and Space Mountain. Now this is the funny part of the day, we are walking towards Tomorrowland, and realize we are the only ones moving, everyone else is standing still watching the fireworks overhead and we are walking, it was very funny and strange…… but we found some great spots to watch the fireworks from Fantasyland. We were actually walking past Pooh’s ride when the fireworks from the top of the building went off over our heads. Again in Tomorrowland, no one is moving except for Grumpy and I, they are all glued to the spot they are in…… mesmerized by the effects of the glorious pyrotechnic display, very surreal…… AHA Space Mountain and NO LINE WHATSOEVER WAHOO even the CM is watching the fireworks. We walk right in and sit right down. We are off……WAHOOOOOOOO Nanatink is correct you can see more at night inside SM than you can during the day. I saw things in there that I had never seen before!!!! Like the planet at the top of the ride, where did that come from. But I wonder if it is because your eyes are adjusted to the darkness outside that you see better inside SM. Oh Well something Nanatink, Sully, myself and Grumpy will no doubt out to the test in January. Next up was Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin 20 min wait, where Grumpy became a Ranger First Class, Me I am still a Space Cadet. I even found out all the secrets from the CM and I am still a Space Cadet, next time I will wear my glasses: rofl2: DSC02712.jpg We stopped at Mrs. Potts Cupboard for an ice cream, we both got a soft serve swirl, the CM said Happy Birthday to me and gave me my Ice Cream as my b’day treat. This soft serve is the best in the park next to the Dole Whip. My last treat for my birthday, and after screaming all the way thru Space Mountain I needed it. We saw Goofy, Chip & Dale out walking around, playing with the children and then all of a sudden Chip & Dale race across towards Mrs. Potts cupboards as fast as a real Chipmunk, the handler had to run to catch up, we were He told us “Nature is Calling” I don’t think I have ever seen them run that fast before….DSC02716.jpg Walked back thru Fantasyland, thru the castle took a few pics from the front of the castle down Main street Then we headed back to POTC to ride one last time, no wait at all….. Grumpy found a great t-shirt but we could not find one in his size, oh well something for the list for next time. Walked slowly down Main Street, turned and looked at the castle one last time, caught the monorail back to the Poly and walked back to SOG. Today’s Weather: Wonderful Warm & Sunny The best thing today was: My own Personal Dream Squad Tag Team The worst thing today was: Having to leave The funniest thing today was: The Villa Nova Students, surprising me at Tony’s Today we tried: Tony’s and Casey’s both are great places. Up Next More Photos and my final thoughts.

| I forgot to mention that we ran into "Push" the talking trashcan, he wished me a Happy Birthday DSC02613.jpg I was able to catch Madame Leota's with her eyes open DSC02574.jpg We also finally got to see Capt Jack's Pirate Tutorial DSC02597.jpg There was a young man, Kevin, in the crowd who was blind and mentally challenged and Capt Jack made sure that he was part of the Pirate Tutorial. He walked over and helped Kevin into the circle with the other children. Capt Jack gets big kudos from me, he was very good with all the children and made them all feel like pirates. Just a little more Disney Magic that I noticed on this trip. DSC02610.jpg BOOHOO no Big Thunder Mountain this trip
