First let me say this is my first pre-trip/trip report. So if I forget something or you want to know more just ask!! I am not as colorful as some are but I will try to keep ya entertained. I will try to remember to put the changes in another color so that you will understand why the title. Don’t worry I will tell you the story behind it afterward.

But they always say the best trips are ones that did not go as smoothly in the beginning....always makes the endings so much better...

Now that you know about all the changes (that story to come ) This is my idea of how our week should go. May not be how it go's because the other three has their own thoughts on it.

Sunday 11/4
-pack car, last minute cleaning, dealing with the kids of the 'hood to get out of the house (this is an everyday on going thing), go to my work and do airline check in, DSis will work both jobs and get home about 3 PM, leave Ocean City by 4 PM. Get to baltimore at 6 PM check into hotel, go all the way into the city and bum (make) my dad pay for dinner, go back and sleep.

Monday 11/5
-get up about 4 AM, get dressed, check out of motel, head to airport, park at the long term lot and take suttle to terminal, check bags, get through security grab a fast bite, get on the plane and take off at 7:15 AM, get to MCO at 9:15 am.
-Take ME to ASMu and check in, if cant get into room get tickets and head to BB. leave BB at about 2 and head back to ASMu. get into room (hopefully if not already in the room), Change and head over to MK for a few hours, About 7:30 head to the Poly for dinner at O'Hanas

Tuesday 11/6
-get up and head over to BB for a few hours. about 12 or 1 head back to ASMu to change and head to a park. Dont know what one yet.

Wednesday 11/7
get up about 8 head to AK by 9
leave AK about 4 to go to motel
DTD night, dinner at Planet Hollywood
DQ for the boys-shopping for me and DSis

Thursday 11/8
leave hotel by 9. eather going to go to BB for a few hours or head right to MGM. 2 PM late lunch at 50's Prime Time. Between 5 and 6 back to hotel to drop bags and do DTD/DQ again if did not do BB in the AM, other wise will stay at MGM until closeing

Friday 11/9
9 AM head to Epcot. Go on Sorin' and do the Behind the Seeds tour. lunch will be eating around the world (first time we are doing the F&W show). Dinner at Garden Grill.

Saturday 11/10
-lay around hotel for awhile, do BB or DQ in the AM, Head to MK, GET ON SPLAH MT for the First time!!!!!!!, late dinner at LTT, leave MK after Wish's, head back to hotel and pack

Sunday 11/11
get up finish packing, check out of hotel, do airline check in, head to MK for breakfast at CP. Do a few rides and then head back to ASMu to get ME to MCO and go home Get into BWI at 8:30 PM get bags and drive 3 hours home.

Monday 11/12

START TO PLAN FOR 2008 Trip
Go and Get all the 2000 (yes my sister takes alot, so much so that the boys yell at her when she says time for a photo every 5 steps ) put on CD's and get about 100 done at CVS and then download the others to York

Okay now the thing you all have been weighting for....the story behine the title!!

Okay, First a little back ground on my family. They are all CRAZY, thank you for me living 3 hours away from the closest one. My sister if she could she would call today to make the arrangements to go tomorrow. Now me I am the polor opposite, I am starting to plan next years trip now. My DNephew 1 dont care, just tell him when and where and if he feels like getting up before 4 PM he is there. DNephew 2 is the polor opposite also, he wants to know everything before hand, but dont care about the planing part. If you even say the word Disney after they know we are going they cover their ears and run screaming that they dont want to hear it.

So with that being said ON WITH THE SHOW (story).....

When we desided to go we desided that we wanted to go in Nov, because we have 3 years worth of Christmas at Disney photos. There is only so many Goofy Santa photos you can stand to look at. But this was put on hold because of DSis boss. He is one that thinks the world gos around him and not the sun. So he kept putting off letting DSis know if she could have the time off. At this point I should say my job is not in the way because I stop working at the end of Oct until mid-March. Well while the boss was coming up with an answer my sister and the boys seen the show on the Disney Cruise so then they wanted to do that. So she started tossing dates/ways to do the cruise. Well now enter DC-1, she wants to do the cruise but would not be able to afford it this year, so that is put off until next year. So we were back to land only. It got to be the middle of August and my DSis said heck with it she was going to make the final choice by the middle of the month. Enter Mickey Mail....flyer came in the mail for a discount. I call get the prices and book. Eight hours later looking at airfair, and found USAir for a okay rate out of the small air port by our house and GREAT air fair with AirTran out of BWI. Last year we had problems with USAir, so she desided to go with AirTran. Air fair done-less then 200.00 a person

The change in the number of people. Well last year everyone wanted to go, but then life happened and dumbness happened (you'll see this in a few lines). So this is what happened to each (well the parents and then you know why the kids are not going).

First there is DC #4. She just went into the I dont know what I want in life mood. She drove over 1/2 way across the country then heading home went to DC # 1's house and desided that she needed a new start there with only one kid (she has 2). Well she desided with the new start she need to not work and lay around and sleep for almost 9 months. So she backed out.

Then there is DC #1. She was going to go and then desided that it cost to much. So she was a no go, but then we found where she could get a rate to go with her and 2 boys for 2,000.00. My sister was paying 1,000.00 so that the boys could go. Her hubby said yes she could go. Well the reservations were made and getting ready to do the air when she came up with I cant go I think if I go my hubby is going to leave me. So she backed out the second time.

Now DC #7/8 has the best reason of them all. They were going to go with their 3 kids, but when it was time to book life really happened. She had some medical problems and then they found out that he was being deployed to the middle east. Sad part is when he is deployed he will be gone any where from 6 months to 2 years. So they backed out, but with good reason.

Then there was DC # 12 the next best reason. She lost her job and found a new one and an even better one then what she had. So because of that she had to back out. I can understand this.

So out of 4 familys two of them are off their rockers with why they cant go.


The tickets....Well like I said my sister always changes her mind. And the boys dont help. It started out that we were only going to do 6 days but then she looked at the flight times and desided to go with 7 days. Well then here comes the TV and the Disney shows with water parks and DQ on them. So the boys desided that they wanted to do them. So enter 7 days with water and more passes.

Where to stay. Well this is yet again because of my sister and the boys. I wanted to stay at POP again or the Contemp. The boys wanted POR. Well when the flyer came in the mail the only thing they had was ASMu. So were are there. Now my sister for the last 3 days have been trying to figure out away to stay at POR. She changes I am not going.

Getting around was changed because of ADR's and the fact that my sister dose not like to weight. First we were going to get the car for 7 days so that we could go to the walmart and DNephew 1 wanted to go to US/IA one day. Well that got trashed, so it went to a one day car rental. This was done because they were going to go to Midevil Times (more about that in a few) that got cut so now we are all Disney Transpertaion.


The reason for all the changes about getting to/from the airport here at home is yet again because of my sister and jobs. We started out as going to get up at 2 am and drive up, but then DSis thought that everyone would be sleepy and not a good start to vacation. So then came into play leave the night before and stay with family. (alot of our family is in baltimore) Well there is a reason we live 3 hours away from our family so that knocked that idea out and it was back to the 2am trip up the day we leave. Enter me and my job...I get rooms at a really good deal becuse of me working at a motel. So in my 7 1/2 hours a night not doing anything at work found a motel 5 minutes from the airport for only 25.00 plus tax. So now when my sister gets done working her 2nd job the day before we leave we will go to the motel check in and then go get daddy to buy dinner for us.

The ADR's were not changed alot but they were. The boys desided that they wanted a video iPod and shoes more then Midevil times so that got cxled. Then my sister over thinking things desided that because when the ADR's were made there was only one night for the Luau and because of that we would not have too good of seats. DN #2 would have had a cow to walk all that way and get stuck in the back of the room. So that was CXLed. Because the Luau was cut we had 2 TS open. We desided to do Planet Hollywood so that they would get to DTD this time. We wanted to do CM the last morning we were there, but they were booked. So we ended up with CP.


All the changes this year has made me go crazy. We are starting our plans for next year now and believe me when they are done that is it NO CHANGES!!!! It will be a hoot to do them because DSis wants to go for 2 weeks next year.

All in all no matter how many changes my sister makes we always have a great time. Even when she is yelling every 5 steps to say time for more and the boys yell at her that she already has 4 copys of the same one at home.


We are down to only 25 days before we leave. They still have to pack, sis will be doing this until 5 minutes after we leave the house. She always forgets something so we will end up turning around twice before she has everything. I am almost done packing. We have to put a hold on the mail at 2 POs. We have family down for 6 days over the next 3 weeks so nothing will get done then. We have to get the yard done so that we can start doing the Christmas blow ups. And toss in a wedding to go to and we have a dream month ahead.
