| A Quickie at WDW Some of you know Jan and I ran down to WDW for a fast weekend not to long ago. We had some friends down there, and we decided to go visit. Our friends were staying at POFQ, and I tried to get a room there, but no luck. In fact, the only moderate available was Saratoga Springs, all the value resorts were booked. As it turned out, our friend told us to come on down and we could stay in their room with them ![]() So, Jan got off work a little early and we left here around 2PM Central time on a Friday afternoon (9/28) arriving at WDW a little after 9PM Eastern. We did a little tour of POFQ in the dark (Jan and I have never been there before) and his the sack. Saturday was a great day!!! We started at AK, spent the middle of the day at EPCOT and finished the day at MK. Back to the room around 10:30-11:00 and off to bed... Sunday we got up and headed for MGM. The original plan was to do MGM in the morning and head back to EPCOT before Jan and I had to head back home. Well, we met up with some other friends and we were very happy to see them. As it turned out, we stayed at MGM until we went back to the room to finish packing. Jan and I hit the road about 3:45 Eastern time and were back at the house a about 9PM Central. It was a fast, but very fun and very needed, trip. That is the words for this trip (except to maybe explain a picture or two) The rest of this TR is in pictures.... Friday night pics... Unless we decide to run down for another weekend ![]() As a side note, for those who want to know, Jan and I took 3 cameras and took over 1100 pictures on this short trip. Over 800 were mine (I carry 2 cameras)... ![]()

| Wonderful pictures, as usual!! I can't wait to get down there! One question, do they usually decorate so much for Halloween? We've been there before at this time, and I don't remember MK being so Halloweenie!

| Is Saratoga Springs a moderate? I thought all DVCs were deluxe? Am I wrong? I don't cash pay for rooms, so I'm sort of out of the loop about the pricing.

| I'm with Cathy (Nimros) that with your title I was thinking of something else! Thanks for sharing the photos-we're watching Undiscovered WDW as we speak and they just showed the SpectroMagic parade. We've never seen it so we're looking forward to going! |
