So... my family's latest WDW trip is coming up next week!

I did a trip report three years ago when we last went and it turned out to be the BEST

souvenir! I printed it in color (which included lots of pictures) and put it in a three ring binder, which kind of turned it into a book. Every now and then I get the binder out and read it and it is like being there all over again. You forget all those little details and things people said or did, so I'm so glad I preserved that memory. I can't wait to do the same for this trip coming up!

So, here goes:

THE CAST:

ME: Stephanie

(barely hanging on to 39!)

DH: Robert (36)

DS: Stephen (9)

TRAVEL PLANS:

Departure and Arrival Date: Saturday 11/17/07 - we'll drive to Orlando and spend that night at the Best Western at Downtown Disney in an Epcot view room.

Switch!: Sunday 11/18/07 - we'll move over to the AKL in a savannah view room for 3 nights.

Switch again!: 11/21/07 - we'll head to Port Canaveral to spend 4 nights (and Thanksgiving!) on the Disney Wonder.

Departure Date: 11/25/07 - we'll drive back to Atlanta from Port Canaveral and back to reality.

OUR PLAN - things in bold are new for us:

Saturday 11/17/07 - arrive Best Western at Downtown Disney around 3:00. We won't really unpack since we'll be moving over to the AKL the next morning. We'll definately shop at the Marketplace and maybe use our passes for the Mouse Boats that come with our package. We have an ADR at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD

for dinner that night and then we will hopefully be able to watch some fireworks from our room that night from Illuminations.

Sunday 11/18/07 - we'll get up and drive over to the AKL and check in and store our bags. We'll grab a bite at the Mara for breakfast and then head on out to the Magic Kingdom for the day! Our main goals would be to see the updated Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, Mickey's Philharmagic, and maybe Pooh and Peter Pan. We have an ADR for dinner that night at Boma

and then we'll probably see if we can look at some animals in the nighttime goggles and have a swim before bed.

Monday 11/19/07 - we'll grab a quick breakfast at the Mara and then head over to Epcot for the day. Our main goals would be to ride Test Track, Sourin', and the new Nemo ride. Depending upon how fast we get through Future World, we may have lunch at the San Angel Inn

and then tour the countries after that. We have an ADR for dinner that night at Le Cellier

and then we'll head back for an evening swim before bed.

Tuesday 11/20/07 - we'll grab a quick breakfast at the Mara and then head over to the Animal Kingdom for the morning. Our main goal is to ride the Safari and maybe Kali River Rapids. When we're done at the AK, we'll head to MGM. Our mail goals there are to see the Indiana Jones show, the Stunt Car show, and the Jedi Training Academy. We have a Fantasmic package at the Brown Derby for an early dinner and then we'll see Fantasmic for the first time ever! Then we'll need to head back and pack up for the next part of our trip!

Wednesday 11/21/07 - we have a breakfast ADR at Boma

and then we'll pack up and head to Port Canaveral!

So, that's our plans for the WDW part of our trip! I want to say a BIG

to Marisa at MouseEar Vacations/Crusing Co! She booked my trip and ADR's and then re-booked my trip when we decided to do part WDW/part Disney cruise. She has been

at answering all my questions in an unbelievably timely manner!

Next up: The trip!

Sounds like you have some great plans Stephanie! I remember reading your last trip report a couple of years ago so I am really looking forward to this one - especially the cruise part since we will be taking our first Disney cruise next summer.

You've got some awesome looking plans there! I'm hoping to get my kiddos on a cruise; will probably wait until my oldest graduates from HS in 2 years since we're heading back next December to see the holiday decorations!!
