Day 3-Nov.7,2007

Well this was AK day. Things went crazy on this day because of how things went yesterday and because we changed BB days because of the weather.

As always I was up first at about 7:00 am. I got my shower, folded up the blankets that I slept on and was ready to go. But the rest of the room was still in sleeping mode. (a side note, my nephews could sleep until 5 pm when there is no school, so that is why they are never up early) Well by the time I went out and smoked and talked to my anut for awhile it was almost 9 am. I wanted to go to DTD to see about a tree topper for the tree this year, so I told my sister that I was going. Her words was we will be there in a little while.

I got the bus to DTD. Seemed like everyone was going there this morning. When I got there I went into the scrapbooking store and looked around. Did not see anything that cought my eye so I moved on. Looked in the Christmas shop, again nothing cought my eye. You would think that it being a Christmas shop that they would have more then 3 kinds of tree toppers. NOT!!! So I moved on. I went into the everything 10.00 and under store. I found a Stitch magnet for my car, but then went into the store next to it (everything 15.00 and under) and I hit the jack pot with photo albums. They had ones that had Walt Disney World on them and a pocket that holds a photo CD in it. They were 5.99 or 2 for 10.00. I picked up 2 because we get one that says Disney every year and we really did not need it because we still have 15 albums at home that I got last year for 1.00 each. With the stuff paid for and on its way back to the resort I was off to the next place.

I desided that it was time for a rest because my foot was really hurting. I went into the candy shop and got a small hot tea and a bag of cotten candy....I know I know a great combo for breakfast. Well while I was in there the rest of the troop called. They had just gotten off the bus and wanted me to come take their photo. After the photo they desided to go into the Christmas shop. I sat out side by the Art of Disney with my tea and cotten candy. Well my sister found a tree topper that she like (I dont like it) but she got that and a Mickey Mouse head bell writh. She got done there and desided that we were going to have lunch at Rainforest Cafe. Well the line was like an hour and Kevin did not want to sit. He wanted Earl of Sandwich. Well what the boys want the boys get. I do have to say myself that it was a good choice...not something I would have picked other wise.

For lunch we had 3 sugar cookies, 1 brownie, 4 sodas, 1 chicken ceaser salad, 1 jerk chicken sandwich, 1 club sandwich and 1 full ____ sandwich. The sandwichs were really good. Next year when I go back I will stop in there while in DTD for a sandwich.

By this time the boys were ready to go to DQ. I wanted to go but my foot was killing me. I desided that I was going to walk over to the Wounderful world of micky and look and then head back to the resort. Well my and my sister got asked to fill out a credit app to get a free micky bag or a mickey blanket. So that took a few minutes. I desided not to go to the store, but instead go to the chocolate store. Most of the time we dont eat things like that, but that Quake shake looked really good in the photo so I had to have one. I got the milk Chocolate caramel one. It was so good...best 6.00 I ever spent.

Sorry to hear about your foot. Now I will definilty make sure I eat at Earl of Sandwich, that is one place we hadn't been to yet.

Sounds like had an enjoyable visit to Downtown Disney. Sorry your foot is still giving you trouble. Oh, and you've reminded me to hit up those discount stores on our trip! Looking forward to hearing about Animal Kingdom.
