| i have done some small posts about the hotel and the transport earlier and someone suggested that i write a trip report, so here goes. before i start disney i had better put a little about the hectic 2 days i had, building up to the honeymoon. Well like any bride i was very stressed the day before my wedding but had finally relaxed when i sat down with my mum and dad to have our last tea together and go over everything before i left home. however as my dad bit into his first mouthfull of the chinese takeaway that we had got, his bridge which held his two front teeth in snapped! well trying to find an emergecy dentist at 9pm on a friday night just wasnt going to happen so we just had to make do, well that put an end to our nice planned evening, and i was very stressed out again. the wedding morning, I woke up early to find that my Hubby to be had written me a lovely poem and had it delivered with the promise of a fantastic evening planned in Disney, instead of a gift, which i thought was lovely, the arrangements for the morning were all coming along nicely ( although getting married at 11am puts everything into a rush) untill 30 mins before the car was coming to pick us up when we realised that we didnt have any of the bridesmaids shoes! Well one of the little flower girls mums had to go and get them which then put everything into even more of a rush. But i was only 15 mins late for church. The wedding went withput hitch and i thought that it was the most fantastic service ever ( although i would say that wouldnt i ) the next amusing thing to happen was that while we were having our pictures taken the car had parked on some grass and being england ( it always rains), and that the car was a 1928 buick, it had very thin wheels it got stuck in the mud, but luckly some passers by helped the driver push it out while we stood by laughing. the reception was fantastic and we had no further problems, (apart from my dads glued in teeth falling out during some of the pictures), untill the evening part of the reception and it came time for us to do our first dance the DJ had been in a car accident so we had no way to play any music, so all our friends and relatives had to sing our first dance to us while we danced, it was unconventional but wonderfull. that may have been boring but it put into perspective how stressed i had been and how everything seamed to go wrong, so how even more magical my honeymoon realy was. | Well the next day we went to stay at the airport as our flight was an early one, i was wearing my bride top ( i saved my just married top for the flight the next day) so when we checked in the lady on the dest noticed and upgraded us into a suite, it was so nice and relaxing especially after the last few days we had, had. this was the start of our fantastic honeymoon, the flight was very early the next day and i was hoping that as i was wearing my just married top that there may have been an upgrade available( well they have to give them to someone), but we were told that the flight was full. but we were in premium economy anyway so it wasnt that bad. the flight was great ( 2 disney films to pick from, as well as the rest) and we were only in the air 8 hours 30. when we landed the other bonus of being in premium economy was that we got off the plane first, if anyone has seen orlando international from the non american side you can be waiting in line for over one hour. not fun when all you want to do is get to disney. we were through in ten mins and our bags were waiting, well i had planned a little surprise for my now husband, i had arranged for quicksilver to pick us up in the nice black stretch limo. Dave was so surprises when there was a driver waiting for us with our name on a board, even more excited when he saw the car. what a way to arrive at disney for his very first disney trip ( and my firt on site), we enhjoyed the trip with our chilled drinks enjoying the scenery untill we pulled up at our disney home the WDW Dolphin. |

| well we pulled up to the Dolphin having had our fantastic journey in the limo, and athough the very front is under construction when we went into the lobby it is an amzing place, so big and airy. we walked straight up to the checkin and checked in. as i had mentioned on my reservation that is was our honeymoon the first thing that the desk clerk did was congratulate us, then apologise that they were 100% booked so they hadnt been able to move us into a suite, however they had put us in one of the best executive rooms and hoped that was ok. well i was i little disapointed being told that we could have had an upgrade if it hadnt of been full, but when we walked into our room i needent have been. the room was very big, for a hotel room, we had a massive bed which was very comfy, a setee, and a small table and chair, a very big bathroom and a dressing room. as we were on the end we had two windows, if i looked out of one i could just about see the epcot ball, and the eifel tower and the top of mexico, and if i looked out of the other window i could see the tower of terror, micky's hat and the top of the great movie ride. i was dissapionted no more, we had a fantastic room. when the luggage was delivered by the bell boy, he also dilivered a 1/2 bottle of campagne and some choccies from all the desk staff, which was a very nice welcome. |

| so that evening being shatterd from our trim we ummed and ahhed about weather to go into a park or just to relax. Dave (DH) not having been to disney before decidet that it couldnt be that good so we should just relax ( how his mind changed over the 13 days we were there), so we just went off to the international gateway to collect our tickets and get our just married buttons. we had a lovely evening strolling around the boardwalk and just went to the big river grille and brewing works for our tea. we then just had a relaxing evening in our room, and had an early night. however i forgot an important issue, as i was awoken by loud bangs as the fireworks went off in epcot, so it was nice to open the curtains and watch the end befor egoing back to sleep for the end of our first day. |
