Plans, Plans, Plans…did I mention Plans????

At this point n the planning, I was happily messaged that the Crazy Lady Trio would be going to Mousefest. I had sent a couple of my own begging and pleading messages in hopes of them making an appearance. Also, we were waiting on the Mousefest land schedule to come out so we could plan our days. Once that came out….I was in full planning mode.

Plan #1: MVMCP

As soon as Disney opened up the lines to purchase MVMCP tickets, I called and got that taken care of. Funny story with the CM…he asked if this was my first trip back since 2005. Huh??? When I told him my history of visiting WDW and DL since 2005, he started laughing. Then just to keep him laughing I told about the next two trips coming up after this one (Feb 2008 to WDW and April 2008 to DL). He calmly said, “You aren’t addicted or anything.” We eventually got to ordering two tickets for December 6th. A week later they arrived in my mailbox, and after double checking the dates, they were stored in the PP.

Plan #2: Yuletide Fantasy Tour

Tiff and I debated back and forth on something new to do on this trip even though we have tons of Mousefest activities to enjoy. Neither one of us had done this tour and have heard some good reviews of it, so it wasn’t a hard decision. Now it was a matter of deciding when?? After looking over our prelim schedule, we decided Friday morning would be the best time to squeeze it in. Tiff took the lead on this event and reserved our spots and paid for them. Tiff!!

Plan #3: Mousefest

I think I can speak for both of us and say that we are excited. Tiff has never been and I went in 2005 but didn’t do a whole lot of Mousefest activities as I was with my mom and really didn’t know a whole lot about it. We are co-hosting the Parade Mingle Meet at MVMCP with Jennifer, Dave, and Alexander, and helping out at the Mega Mouse Meet (look for us at the reception table from 1:30-2:30). We also plan on attending the Illuminations Keychain Exchange Meet and Adventurer’s Club Meet. Those are the definite ones!! I’m sure there will be spontaneous decisions for other meets but time will tell.

Plan #4: Meals

We added the DDP onto our reservation so the bulk of our meals are covered. We wanted to try some new places but could not give up the “old” as far as one restaurant goes. I don’t want people’s eyes to glaze over so I will list our TS meals quickly. CS is up in the air. Ready…Set…Go!

12/5: 1900 Park Fare for dinner (new for both)
12/6: Chef Mickey’s for breakfast
12/7: Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre for dinner
12/8: San Angel Inn for dinner
12/9: Raglan Road for dinner (new for both)
12/10: Crystal Palace for breakfast (must-do)

OK..everyone back with me. I’ll slow down to make sure. As stated previously, the CS credits are up in the air. We know we will use one at Casey’s Corner for some hotdogs. I also believe we will be going to Beaches and Cream for some dessert!!

Plan #5: Everything Else

Tiff and I are taking part in the massively secret plan that Karen has been working on deep in her basement (just go with me here) making sure she coordinates with Time-O-Matic 3000 for it all to work out. We know it will be a hilarious time I am sure but one can’t help but be a little worrisome. There are a lot of miscellaneous plans that will come to fruition once we get down there and I’m sure the proof will follow in subsequent trip reports. All in all, we just want to have fun, hang out, meet up with fellow PassPorters, and enjoy the Disney magic!

Since I bought the tickets before I knew I was moving to Louisville, we are flying out of Indy. Tiff and I are meeting up on December 4th and staying at the Quality Inn near the airport. They do the Park-n-Fly so we can leave our cars there at the hotel and take the shuttle to and from the airport. Definitely a plus.

So, I bid farewell to the pre-trip portion of this trip report and get ready for all the fun and hijinks to be had in WDW. To those that are going to be done for Mousefest, I look forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time. To those staying back, between all those going, we will have plenty of stories upon our return!
