| I have the biggest blister on my toe trip report. Nov 26-Dec 4 2007 I will get to the reason for the title later. Cast of Characters: Me- I am 36 years old and a HUGE Disney fan. DH Jay- He is 36 years and a Disney fan too but not as much as me. This was our 5th trip to Disney World. Our 3rd in a year and a half. We departed on Monday Nov 26, 2007 and returned on Tues Dec 4, 2007. We stayed at the All Star Movies Resort. We were in the Buzz Lightyear section. Room 951. Day 1 We woke up at 3:00am. Our flight took off at 6:25am and we still had to finish packing. When we left St. Louis it was cold but not as bad as it was when we got home. Brrrrrr. We got to the airport about 5:00am. We took off right on time. We landed in Orlando at 9:40am. The weather was beautiful. Locals said it was 85 degrees. We took the Disney Magical Express to our resort. We got checked in and our room was ready. Yippy. So we went dropped off our carry ons and went to the food court for some lunch. I got my make your own salad. It was so yummy. Jay got a taco salad. We then walked around our resort so I could take some pictures. I take lots and lots of pictures of everything. We then decided to go check out a few of the resorts. So we took a bus to AK and then another bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge. WOW it was sooo pretty and so quiet. We loved it. We really want to stay there. It was neat seeing all the animals roaming around. Then we took a bus back to AK and another bus to Wilderness Lodge. It was really pretty too but so far we liked AKL better. We then took yet another bus to AK and headed over to Coronado Springs but we didn't get very far there. The second we walked in the door some lady stopped us and wanted to know what we were doing there. Of course we lied and said checking in so she directed us that direction and we mad a right turn to the rest rooms. And then snuck out a side door. I did get a picture of the lobby though. The lady was really rude. We didn't want to get into trouble so we just left. We took another bus to AK and headed back to our hotel. Buy this time it was 4:30pm. We get in our room and guess what? NO LUGGAGE. I was not a very happy camper. Jay called down to the front desk to find out where it was. The lady says "well when did you check in?" Jay said about 10:30am this morning. She put him on hold for a few mins then said "your luggage will be up in about 15 mins." It was. The man was very nice and appologized for us not getting our luggage until later. After he left we looked at the yellow tags. Our room number was 951 but on the tags it looked like 451. So we think they got sent to the wrong room. We got unpacked and took a bus to MK and the monorail to the Poly. We had dinner plans for 6:05pm at Ohana. OH MY GOSH it was soooooooooo good. We ate till we burst. The only thing we didnt really care for was the green dipping sauce. I don' t know what it was but it was nasty. The turkey, steak, sausage, and the chicken were to die for. So good. Then cousin Michael brings out this huge bowl of Bananas Foster. WOW that was delicous. The whole meal was so wonderful. We will definatly eat there again. After dinner we walked around the resort and decided to go to the beach. There we sat on a couple of lawn chairs and watched the fireworks from MK. It was so romantic. After the fireworks we just sat there for about an hour. I could have stayed there all night. Buy this time it was 9:00pm. We decided to go to DTD. So we took a bus from the Poly to DTD. There we walked around and just soaked in the nice night. We left DTD about 10:30pm and headed back to our resort for some sleep. |
