| Jookiba is LIVE! Day 2 teaser-wonderful day ended with horrid meal @ LeCellier... Let me start with the good stuff-the wonderful pixie dust the kids and I had going all day today (up til dinner that is). Before we left to hop on the bus I send DD to the coke machine with $2-I thought that was enough to get a pop. I was .50 short-but the wonderful man Juan was stocking the machines at the time and told DD "don't worry about it". As luck would have it we passed Juan as he rode in the elevator down with us. I fished out .50 and begged him to take it-he was so happy and kept denying it. He was joking and kidding around with DS-and then hands HIM a pop.....for FREE!! That just made us We headed to Animal Kingdom and boy was that place nuts! Got a fastpass for E:E with a return time of 7:00PM. That really created a dilemma for us as our ADR @ LeCellier was at 8:20. After we did everything we wanted to do, we headed over to Dinosaur. We had previously got Dinosaur FP's as well (since everything was an hour or more wait) but were a half hour early. The CM at Dinosaur heard me and the kids talking about our situation (we were trying to find a party of 3 who we could give the E:E FP's to-I told the kids there was NO way I was missing that ADR). I was also asking the kids if they just wanted to skip Dinosaur (we would give away those FP's as well) and do it on Sunday when we go back. Pixie dusting #2 happened after the CM called us over and says "I hear you have a dilemma with your dining reservations and your fastpasses, right? Well, since you're being nice and trying to spread the magic X 2 by giving away your fastpasses, here are TWO front of the line passes-one for Dinosaur for right now, and the other for E:E afterwards, so you can get out in plenty of time to make it to Epcot". After our adventures were over we headed over to Epcot. We had about 2 hours to kill before dinner so we walked around & got a snack to tide us over. I got one of those school breads-it was as big as my hand with the fingers extended! It was pretty good. DS got dirt pudding; DD an apple strudel. Which brings us to dinner. Service, great. Environment, great. Breadsticks, great. DD and DS both got the prime rib which was excellent. I got the filet mignon and it looked great-however the very top layer was burnt to a crisp (I ordered med. rare).....but not enough that I would send it back since A) I'm a nurse and will eat anything, and B) the layer was small enough to cut off without taking a large amount of the meat with it. It tasted terribly "gamey"-like deer meat to me. The potatoes had an awful, sour-milk taste. The kids ended up splitting their potatoes with me. Dessert was spot-on-DS got the chocolate on chocolate whiskey cake, DD the Smores, and myself the creme brulee. I had been planning on the choc cake but had to have something bland to settle my stomach. I wouldn't have made it back to Pop Century without doing that. If you're wondering whether or not I discussed the bad meal with anyone, yes I did. Things in Disney are changing though-while I like to believe most people are honest there are bad apples out there that will moan, groan, and complain for a free meal EVEN if it's lying. The server heard my complaints but NEVER asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager or wanted something else. Perhaps Disney is so tired of "making things right" that they're starting to slack in that perspective. I certainly hope that's not the case though. With that I am going to peruse on here for a little bit, enjoy my Mudslide from the food court, and then hit the hay. Tomorrow we have an early date with Stitch and Co. at the Polynesian.....and it's supposed to be a wonderful 74 degrees!! WOOHOO!! Till tomorrow, friends! | We were a bit disappointed in LC when we were there in September. I've only been there 2x but the second was not as good as the first. Oh well, trying again in April. Keep up the report. Oh, and mudslide - yum! ![]()

| Glad to hear you've been sprinkled with some pixie dust! Those front of the line fast passes are awesome! And Juan sounds like a delightful CM too! Sorry Le Cellier was a let down for you - that's a shame when you're looking forward to something and it doesn't live up to your expectations. Hope you enjoyed the mudslide and that today is a great (and warm!) day!

| I'm sorry that LeCellier didn't live up to your expectations. We've always had an excellent meal there. They did recently change chef's. The previous chef went to Jiko's. Quote:
I try to remember that LeCellier is a wonderful theme park restaurant.
