| TL and the sun . . . sounds like a good way to recover. Sounds like other than the aches and pains, you had a great day.

| I love the fireworks pic! Glad you had a sort of relaxing day and could recover after that sad Steeler's game! Can't wait to hear about the BBB surprise trip! Have fun!

| This installment will give new meaning to the word teaser. Thanks to our early BBB appointments we got to the MK before opening-and were skipping down Main Street together! ![]() You want to talk about jaws dropping when we walked up to the door-my DD was saying "wait a minute....what is this? Ohhhhh MOM!!!" and then starts screaming in that high-pitchedtalkamileaminuteteenagervoice!! Needless to say it was a hit. I've enclosed the "Cool Dude" pictures if anyone would like their son to go-and if you have teens, tweens, or want to go yourself, DO IT!! My daughter got the biggest kick out of it!!! Tomorrow we are planning on just winging it-probably heading back to Typhoon Lagoon for a while. Only other concrete plans is dinner at Coral Reef!!! Till tomorrow (and sorry this one's short-I'll make up for it with the "real" TR)! |

| Day 6-Crush & Gusher 1, Jookiba 0 As the title would have it, TL is where we began today. We got going much later than planned as when the wake-up call came, I hollered to the kids but didn't hear a peep in return. Set a wake-up alarm on my cell phone; that came and went with nary a peep. So finally THEY woke me up much later than I'd like to admit to......but hey, it's vacation, and we're in the home stretch-exhaustion is setting in! I'll be the first to admit my fear of heights as well as dark enclosed spaces. Unfortunately Crush & Gusher exhibits both; but being a single mom if I want to enjoy the same things as my kids sometimes I've gotta "take one for the team". It wouldn't have been so bad had my rear end not dragged along the chutes & tubes; with the force of the water pushing you though-that's what made it hurt!! I also don't like water splashing up into my face as I have an innate fear of drowning (since I almost did as a child) and since this is a "water roller coaster" there was plenty of splashing. I took one for the team and was done for the day. My rear was parked in a lounge chair, soaking up the sun, until we left!! After returning to the room to shower for dinner we hopped on the bus to Epcot. Since I suffer from horrid motion sickness the kids went solo on Mission: Space and tolerated the orange version without problems. They actually got to go twice since we had discovered the wait for Soarin was almost 2 hours. Which leads to Coral Reef-the best meal all week, hands down. The view was incredible (side note to Nala-you were right-we didn't get a table right in front of the tank but STILL had an incredible view nonetheless!) and our server was wonderful. DS got the chocolate wave for dessert and since the cherries are brandied, he brought them out for me only in a bowl with about 10 more cherries on them!! They were so good but I had to call it quits after about 6! I can't believe our vacation is almost over......however I'm finding myself with mixed feelings and wonder if anyone else reading this has felt the same or if I'm crazy. Although we're having the time of our lives and love Disney, we feel READY to go home! I know the post-Disney blues will hit once we're back, but right now if I had to go I'd be happy. Am I insane? We plan to hit Animal Kingdom upon opening tomorrow & head to Magic Kingdom about 1. Dinner is planned for Raglan Road-we'll also look around the shops down there afterwards. If I don't have time to do my last live update tomorrow night, watch for my "real" trip report that will follow sometime in the near future. I'm raising my mudslide to toast you all a fond farewell.......goodnight friends!! |

| Hooray! I'm so glad Coral Reef was a hit. My girls want to go there because the Full House family did, so I booked us for dinner. Looking forward to your full report, with pictures! Have a great last day and a safe trip home!
