EmpressLizBunny’s 21st Birthday Bash!-pre trip report

Ok this trip report will be posted only in the wdw-trip reports and not in the cruise trip reports as otherwise I will get confused
This bunny bash will consist of a 7 day western Caribbean cruise on dcl staying in a 1br suite and 6.5 days at wdw staying at the poly

History

The whole thing got started on November 24 2006 when I emailed Maureen it took me a couple of days to convince my mom but we finally booked on November 27 2006 and I started planning what u say I cant book any reservations for almost another year so what I can plan cant I so I planed for the next 348 days
But before we get there maybe u should be introduced to

The cast of characters

Me-EmpressLizBunny-Elizabeth(Liz) Jane Cullinan-turning 21 a few days before the trip also confirmed Disneyholic

Mom-Mommy Bunny-Patricia(Pat) Ann Ruggles-50some-od years old also a bunny and tolerates my Disney obsession but says this will be her last trip (to Disney)for a while she is only staying for the cruise then is skipping out on us afterward

Best Friend-Kitty-Lenette Davis-19-my best friend this will be her first Disney trip ever so im gonna make it memorable (hopefully I can bring her over to the Disney side)

So the cast for this trip is 2 bunnies and 1 kitty plus some mice, dogs, ducks, and other various animals

Back to the main story

So I start talking my moms ear off about this trip and she gets tired of this talking REAL fast so she suggests that I think about inviting a friend to keep me company (and away from her) so I IM Lenette and we get her added to our resies and I make a reservation at the Poly with deluxe dining (so I don’t have to worry about charges to my credit card and have food paid for already) and I make all our adrs and our excursions and dining on the ship . Lenette only asks for one thing horseback riding will I be able to set it up for her? And what about airfare and the hotel?

trip partPre 2-Its January and we Don’t have airfare?!?!


Ok its perfectly obvious to anyone who knows me (and my family) that I inherited the procrastination gene from both my parents so while I was anoyed that it was January and we didn’t have airfare I wasn't able to get my mother to do ANYTHING about it i finally got my father to buy the airfare for me my mom and Lenette its his birthday present to me now some background on part of why it was so hard for us to pick a flight I hate Airtran(I don’t rember exactly why but I do) and my mom HATES Dulles (iad) mostly cuse of their tram system but jet blue only flys out of iad not outta any of the other Washington dc area airports and I wanted to fly jet blue cuse my dad had had very good experiences with them so I convinced mom to fly otta iad by showing her that jet blue flys outta a terminal that one can walk to instead of using the tram so we finally got our plane tickets flying in 2/22 and the cruise starts on 2/23

So where are we staying the night before the cruise you ask?

Well that’s a very good question! My ever so loving Mother REFUSES to share a room with me(yes it hurts *snif snif*) so I had to find a way to either get 2 rooms or a suite well I look in my handy dandy Passporter to see what is recommended well I also look at a couple of websites and got a couple of quotes and I decided on…….wait one sec let me look up the confirmation e-mail



Oh yeah residence inn cape Canaveral! We ended up getting a “AAA RATE*EXECUTIVE TWO BEDROOM KING SUITE*FULL KITCHEN*LIVING ARE A W.DESK*FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET*FREE HOT BREAKFAST BUFFET*” as described on the site for $199.00 I thought that this was ok better than I could get for 2 separate bedrooms I hope this hotel is good as it was my choice without consulting mom I paid for it myself

Well you might be asking “how are you getting to the hotel from the airport?”

This would be another very good question! We are using Tiffany Town Car to get us from the airport to the hotel then from the port to the Poly then from the Poly to the airport but im getting ahead of myself! We will be taking the hotel’s shuttle to the port the day of departure

You might be asking “So what are your plans for your trip?”

Wow! You ask Very Good questions!!! To bad this one will have to wait for my next update!

Well now u get to know!

2/22-fly out of IAD at 6:25pm and arrive in MCO at 8:50pm find our driver and head to our hotel

2/23-Embarkation day-take the shuttle from our hotel to the port(I have no idea what time we should do this) check-in wander around the ship until they open up the room then get ready for the safty drill then get to the sail away party

2/24-Key West-ALL-Old Town Trolley or Conch Train Tour-ME-Well Being Massage
MOM-Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Facial
LENETTE-we have no what she will be doing

2/25-Sea Day-ALL-Palo Brunch
ME-Metabolism Test With Body Composition Analysis-Personal Training-Elemis Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap With Half Body Massage
MOM-Elemis Exotic Hand Ritual With Manicure-Elemis Sole Delight Foot Treatment With Pedicure
LENETTE-once again we have no idea what she wants to do

2/26-Grand Cayman-ALL-Shipwreck & reef snorkeling(we don’t know how this will go as Lenette just told me she is not a very strong swimmer)-ALL-Palo Dinner

2/29(yep it’s a leap year a bunny’s favorite type of year)Castaway Cay-ALL-Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure-Snorkel Lagoon Equipment Rental All Day

3/1-Disembarktion Day-Get off the ship by 8:30 to meet our town car around 9:45-10 am arrive at the poly and check-in (mom is still with us at this point)-We may go into the mk at this point or we may just hang around the resort depends on how we feel-mom calls a cab around 4:30ish to catch her flight at 7:50 so bye bye mom-Lenette and I have dinner at Tony’s town square restaurant at 5:45 then the princess and pirate party tonight!

3/2-MK-crystal palace 2:10pm

3/3-Epcot-lilo and stitch 10am-coral reef 5:30pm

3/4-MK-family magic tour for 10am me-horse back riding for lenette 11:30-CRT 2:25-Hoop De Do Review 9:30pm(i cant wait i havent done this yet)

3/5-Epcot-garden grill 11am-san angel inn 7pm

3/6-AK-tusker house 10:30 am get back to the poly around 4 pickup our stuff from the bell staff and get ready for our ride home our flight out is at 7:50 arriving home at 10:05pm
