DH is a Gloria Estefan fan so he'll be glad to hear your Bongos experience was an upgrade from ours. We hope to see LaNouba one day, thanks for the update!

Glad you had a decent meal at Bongos. My husband is Cuban and he will tell you that even though Gloria Estefan owns it, the food is not all authentic. Sounds like a great show a Cirque and your photos are wonderful!!!

Great update.
We just stayed at AKLV too and I agree, it's beautiful but very dark. The choice of wood and paint definitely contribute to that. I think everyone should visit there at least to walk around. The night vision goggles aren't brought out to the main overlook. If you go past the hot tub, there's an overlook where they bring out the goggles. DH and I had a hard time finding it too.

First, your pictures are fantastic. Great shots! I've always been curious about Bongo’s Cuban Café, nice to have your information for future reference. Your evening sounds so good, I love vacations where I do not feel pushed to go, go, go.

What an amazing room! I have never seen anything like that. Micah and I have never even visited AKL...we will put that on our list of resorts to take a look at.

I am enjoying your TR so much. Can't wait to hear more.
