| AP is one of the few restaurants I've yet to try. After reading about your meal, I must find a way. Sorry it was so cold. But warming up by the fireplace is a great remedy.

| Wow those pictures of Artists point have made me very hungry. We had those spring rolls too! MMmmm. The sleigh ride looked good too - wouldn't it be great to live there all winter? Loving your report!

| Just got caught up on this report and I can not believe how much you are able to squeeze into one day! That sleigh ride sounds like alot of fun. We left the day before that cold snap came through and I remember DH saying how lucky we were for picking the week we did because it was getting really cold the next week. At least you were able to warm up by the fireplace at WL. Not a total hardship really. I can't wait to hear more!

| I just got caught up with your wonderful day. Discovery Cove sounds AMAZING! Although as a total cold weenie, I can only imagine it in the summertime! I loved seeing your pictures of the RV's at Fort Wilderness. I have this little bee in my bonnet about having our family spend next Christmas at one of the cabins at Fort Wilderness, so I'm loving every little piece of self-convincing ammo (although it honestly won't take much for me!) And, thanks so much for your pictures and review of Artist Point. It has the distinction of being the last Disney restaurant that I ever got to eat at with my Mom. I'd put Zack in the kids' program, and we just had the most special evening. Thank you for helping me remember it! OK, now I'm getting all misty, help me out with a fun update tomorrow! Can't wait to hear more!

| Your meal at Artist Point looks great. Mark certainly looks cold. He still has his rosy cheeks from the cold sitting down at dinner.

| Monday 17 December – part one: OK, who turned off the heating? Today we were off to SeaWorld and we had a fun encounter on the way there, when an SUV from out of state tried to carve us up. Afterwards, he gave us the thumbs up and then waved at us, which we took to mean that perhaps he was apologising. At least that’s what we thought he was doing. Would you guys agree? We were there a few minutes before 9.00 and couldn’t believe how many cars were already there. One thing you have to know about today before you see any of the photos – it was very cold. It was the first time that the notoriously unpredictable Florida weather hit with highs only forecast of he mid 50’s today and winds of up to 30 miles an hour. When we left the Beach Club, it was probably in the mid 30’s and I doubt it was much warmer when we got to SeaWorld. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We had to wait a few minutes for Mark’s family to show up and, take it from me, it was cold standing there! Finally we were altogether and in we went. After a quick look at the park schedule, I realised that our day would be decided by the shows to a certain extent. There was only one show of Believe at 1.30, which I was determined to see and everyone wanted to catch Clyde and Seamore, but the only showing we could make was 10.00, as the next one wasn’t until 3.00 and we all wanted to be gone by then. So we took a leisurely stroll over to see Clyde and Seamore, stopping on the way for various photos. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() By the time we got there, we still had about 30 minutes to spare, so we headed into Penguin Encounter and that was so much fun as always. I love the way that they always seem so cumbersome on the land yet they’re so graceful and fast in it. Mark’s photos: My photos: From there, we had a look at Pacific Point Reserve, where the sealions and seals hang out, although it was decided that perhaps we should wait until after the show before we tried to feed them. We went into the show about 15 minutes before it started and that was the right time to get there. I didn’t know it, but for Dave, the real highlight of the show is the comedian beforehand and he loved him, although I did catch him looking at his watch as soon as he left the stage. Full credit though, this guy was very good. Barb and Hannah enjoying the show Next: avoiding the vultures

| I seeing the penguins!! I have to ask... when we went to SeaWorld there was one penguin standing there, like a statue, just collecting a mountain of snow on his head, while a group of other penguins just stood around him, staring at him... just curious if he was buried in the snow yet? ![]() Yes it was coooooold that day!! So I can totally empathize with you!
