| Audience Participation..... So Since my last update had to do with a change in hotels it is time for a little hotel trivia..... 1. This hotel opened in 2003 it features decor themed to eras and has icons that are shaped like Rubix Cubes, Laptops, and bowling pins. 2. What were the first 3 hotels to open on WDW Property? 3. What resort is considered the Flagship Hotel for WDW? 4. What is the name of the Pool at the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts? 5. There are 3 hotels that are on Disney World Property but are not owned or operated by WDW what are their names? 6. What are the names of the island themed areas at the Caribbean Resort? 7. Where is Old Faithful located on Disney Property? 8. This Resort is named for a city in Southern Florida and is operated by DVC? 9. Which hotel would great you with Aloha and serves dole whips in its Counter Service restaurant? 10. What hotel is Iamgrumpy staying at in just over a month? Good Luck and have a Fun!

| Amy, you will LOVE the AKL! We stayed there for 10 days during our big splurge Christmas vacation in 2004. I cried when we had to leave. Enjoy!

| ![]() Had to go with the Mickey Bar this time for Dessert and for those who like Dole Whip Floats We are like a month away from our trip and I can’t contain my excitement it is going through the roof! Instead of saving money for the trip I find myself doing the “ohhh those shoes would look great on our trip” and buying said shoes!!! I have to control myself I still have to pay for things on the trip! But I did manage to pick up a few things for my grandmother for Mother’s Day as we are leaving the day before and this way I know that what I got her will work for the trip and this way she doesn’t look like a hobo in all the pictures… you know how grandma’s can be…. At least mine likes to wear bright pink pants, a burnt orange shirt with blue shoes and curlers in her hair and when you complain you get the “shut up I think this matches” OH NO IT DOESN’T LOL So while at the Disney store about 2 weeks ago I picked up 6 of the ladies tee shirts that they have on sale for $4.99 each. So for $30 she gets to at least wear Disney while on the trip and we can control most of the outfits :rolf2: I’m sorry but I don’t want to have our photos look completely like an add for What NOT to Wear! Then I found a Night Shirt on the clearance rack for $9.99 for her to wear in the room so that she doesn’t flash anyone Who would want to see a 81 yo anyway certainly not me! Then I ordered a pair of my sandals that I bought from QVC a year ago at their outlet center online from Amazon for the same price. Birkenstock sandals that are comfy. Well the leather they used on this set was different then the ones I got last summer so they don’t fit so I am going to have my grandma try them and if they fit then she will be done for the trip and for Mother’s Day. If they don’t fit then they will go back. For Easter I got her a makeup kit and toiletry bag for her things and filled it up with all the travel size items she needs and a new toothbrush and packed it all so she has that so Grandma is well fitted. My mother got a makeup and toiletry bag as well for Easter and I filled hers up with the items she uses and will need so she is all set. I don’t buy her clothes she has enough from QVC that she uses our spare bedroom as a walk in closet she is going to have fun trying to pack I’m sure too many choices! We picked up things though for the trip such as more disposable ponchos, sunscreen, Disney Dollars, everything that we could find cheap or on sale really. I am trying to decide if we want to ship a box down before hand with everything in it so that we have less to pack but I hate to bother the hotel with that so we will see. I would just like to know why it takes so long for the last few weeks to go by but when you go on the trip the days fly by???? Can’t it be the other way around Up Next….That would have been a big OOPs and wow more savings?? To Read my next update " The Big almost oop's and some savings"- Click Here
