| 4/22- An TR Update!!!!! The Dessert to the Party!!! So to finish this Party of 3 I thought Dessert would be an Update to my TR!!!!! Since we have Miss Piggy'ed out to the food and drinks I think this week's treat will be A virtual Souvenir! A Set of Mickey ears!! these are just virtual and not a real prize but I hope you enjoy them! ![]() So when we went in September my mom and I were given an Owner’s locker to use to try out the service. What the service basically does is let you store items that you would use on your vacation but don’t want to have to keep shuttling back and forth but would save you time and space in your bags by not having to take time to pack it at home, and space to bring to Fl and back home. But this isn’t a free service there is a yearly fee and we want to see if it’s worth it for us to use the service. We got our locker it’s a purple bin similar to those that you might use to store linens, or items in your closet but the material is heavy and durable but the container is light enough when empty that anyone can lift it. Once you load it up though you may find that you will need help to move it but its all in what you chose to fill it with. Inside the bin you get separators, and a smaller case to put smaller items in. You get lock ties and a label so that bell services or luggage services know where and who to give it to. They deliver the bin to your hotel the day you’re scheduled to check in and will pick it up after you leave all you have to do is fill it up. Well ours was there waiting for us when we arrived in September and we filled it with things we would use on vacation but wouldn’t miss if this service didn’t work out or it got lost. Extra ponchos, a tiara for our Halloween costume, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Well we got notifications when the box was delivered to the hotel, when it was picked up, and when it was back at the warehouse. It was great we felt that the communication was great. Well this trip in May will be our first trip where they are to deliver it to us with things in it, so we are anxious to see if our things are still there, and how it works out but based on how well it went in September we are sure its fine.. But….. When you change hotels as often as we do when planning a vacation you have to remember to change it in the Owner’s Locker website or you may find your box at the wrong hotel!!!! I had scheduled it for delivery to All Star Music when we first booked, but in the mean time we had changed hotels 2 times and if I hadn’t remembered last night to change it then the locker would have been sitting at ASMu while we were staying at AKL That is one reason having CMUMM (Can’t Make Up My Mind) disease is not a good thing! It’s a distant relative of the CRS disease but at least I remembered this time Up next….The Car Rental Auction….Do I hear Cha Ching? To Read my next update : Click Here

| Updated 5/1/2008 Well when we last discussed the whole rental car thing I was ok with $289 but then thrilled when the price at Avis brought it to $246 for the time we were going but knowing me changed to Alamo again for $256 because that gave me a extra driver where Avis did not! Well I would check every other day or so but for a while they didn’t seem to be lowering the price but on Monday they lowered the rate at Alamo from $256 to $205 so I canceled and rebooked for the new price! Score $50 in my pocket not theirs! Well Tuesday I go in just to look and see if I made a good decision and well guess what…. It was no $201 so yes for $4 I canceled and rebooked again! $4 is $4 and that is like a whole snack at Disney so whoo hooo!!! More Spending money for me! Well Of course Wednesday I go in again just to see if they raised prices like they seem to do when I cancel and rebook often and well are you ready for this…. THEY LOWERED the price to $162 WITH TAX for the same time frame!!!!! Of Course I canceled again and rebooked for the new rate… I will check again every day now as I think we are playing “lets make a deal” and all I hear is my money going back into my account “cha Ching” So far I have made like 10 reservations with any hope I will still have one active by the time we get there !!! Now I just have to cancel the Avis one for sure because I was holding it in case the Alamo one didn’t go down further obviously we will keep Alamo so we will cancel the Avis one definitely! So I made a few more purchases for myself but first let me start by saying that I was 75% packed 3 weeks before we were even set to leave but I realized I had NO PANTS to wear no Capri’s no shorts, that would be a bad thing see no one would want to see me going around the parks in just a bathing suit I don’t even want to see that! So seeing that I had nothing to wear what must a girl do????? Go Shopping of Course! Well, let me start this off by saying that I do enjoy shopping but going to the store and spending 4 hours trying clothes on is NOT MY STYLE!!! I hate the whole standing in store with no where to really put anything and then having to model it all for those with me because god forbid they not see the pants painted on me when they don’t fit…oh yes my family makes me show every article so they can critique what they like and what they don’t….guess what if they won’t zip they don’t fit I’m moving ON trust me when I say there are stores we are no longer welcome in because of the bickering, the comments and the fact that it usually ends up in a family feud So my solution….. Welcome to online shopping, and trying them on in the privacy of my own home, my own room, on my own time…usually when NO ONE else is HOME! So I went onto Lane Bryant since I have a gold card (ok so does everyone with a LB card since its design is in gold but hey I like saying that I have a Gold Card simple things) well they were only offering 20% off but they had a few things that looked ok but frankly I was only getting 4 items for about $100 which to me was not a savings of much money. That was expensive! So I went to my next favorite store which is QVC because I know their sizing, their product and if you buy more then one item at the same time they discount the shipping costs. So I went over to their website and was able to purchase 7 pairs of Capris in really nice colors with shipping for about the same price as the 4 items at Lane Bryant. SCORE!!! So I now have plenty of Capris, and my mom had a pair of shorts that I liked and gave me so I have at least 1 pair of shorts and the rest Capris which are more comfortable for me. I ordered them on Saturday and had them on Tuesday!!!! That is what I call service! I also found a pair of my Birkenstock sandals that I love LOVE love at Zappo's and ordered them while they are quite expensive I wear nothing but those and crocs on vacation so I will use them a lot! I ordered them on a Tuesday at 7pm and had them at my door the NEXT day at Noon!!! Up Next.... A final Itinerary of sorts and our final ADR list yes there were changes!

| Wonderful update! We are trying Owner's Locker for the first time on our upcoming trip. I am really anxious to see how we like it. I have been stashing things back to put in it for a couple of months now. Glad you got your shopping done. I love QVC myself and have on a pair of their capris right now. It is a great way to shop!!
