| Well... I found this PTR rather late, so I am behind and was able to breeze right through all the cliffhangers up to now....... wait a minute, am I still on the same thread? Let me go back a bit... Yes, there it is SW Air, Value resort, two adults.... Oh, that's right, it's an Amy PTR! OK, I'm all caught up on the same PTR, but I need to answer the Questions:

| First let me start off this installment by saying How Sorry I am that I didn't update for so long! Between mom winning the free trip to Ft. myers, Easter, Work and a whole ton of changes there I just haven't had the time or energy to really put in the quality writing that you ALL deserve to read! So Without Futher delay....A few Details about my trip in May (hee hee I made a rhyme) ![]() Our Refreshments for today are a Pink Flamingo to drink ![]() And to snack on: ![]() Now that we had our hotel decided upon and we had our flights booked we had to book a car. As we were going to need it this trip to go look at all the apartments. Well normally we book with Alamo so I headed over to their website and then in a separate window opened up Costco's website as they always have the best coupon discounts for Alamo. We were shocked at how expensive a Car rental was but booked it for the 10 days for $289 with taxes. Using a free day coupon and getting 25% off with the Costco Discount. It was more then we have ever paid but what can we do we need the car! I then checked every car rental agency that has a counter and the cars at the airport terminal but they were all more then Alamo, then I tried those off the airport terminal area and those were more expensive. So I left it alone and just was thankful I wasn't paying more then that. Well a few weeks later after returning from our Ft. Myers trip and having such a wonderful experience with Avis. I decided to see if prices had come down for Alamo. Well they hadn't, so I went over to Avis's webiste. Well using a Costco Coupon for a Free Day AND a Free Upgrade and getting a % off the rental to begin with. We were able to get the same level car as Alamo for $276 and when we check into Avis they will upgrade us to a Full Size Car and take about $30 off the price!!! So we will end up with a Full Size Car for about $246 which isn't horrible! We are ok with that and I am hoping prices will drop as it gets closer. Up Next... Dining Choices

| you cannot believe how happy i am to see the pop century tye-dye cheesecake. i ![]() ![]() it!!!!!!!!!!! i'll take 2.i have no experience with car rental, so if you say it's not a great deal, then i agree. $24 a day seems a little high (and don't you pay for milage and gas? again, absolutely NO experience with rental cars, so i believe what i just said is completely wrong.)

| Glad to see you writing again - at least you were able to secure a reasonable deal on the car rental in the end.
