| Your DD looks just precious in that Snow White costume! I'm so glad to hear her favorite princess was in attendance that day. I can't wait to hear about her reaction to the real live Ariel.

| New update FINALLY! Sorry for the delay! Sunday, Feb 10th Day 2 Afternoon After approximately a half hour wait, our name is called for our ADR at Akershus. I had no idea how beautiful the restaurant was inside. We took our picture with Belle, which they later tried to sell us as a photo package. I passed on it since we used our own camera. Lunch orders were placed and they were very accommodating for me and DH’s veggie order. The girls enjoyed their Mickey pasta. Serena would not eat a bit (even though I knew she was starving). She kept her eyes on all the princesses circulating around the room. First up was Snow White, who made a big fuss with the matching outfits. The picture came out great of them chatting. You have to love the honesty of children. Serena felt the need to tell Snow White that she wasn’t her favorite (even though she was wearing her dress). Ariel was her favorite and she was going to wear that costume in a few days for the P&PP. Too funny! DH and I didn’t know what to say to Snow White L Jasmine came by next and her outfit was gorgeous! Aurora also stopped by the table for a quick picture and autograph. Finally, Princess Ariel graced us with her presence. Serena was speechless! She told her that she liked the flower in her hair and I became teary eyed when she gave her a hug. It made my day and Serena’s! Once all the visits were complete, we finished our lunch and enjoy the sampler dessert tray (I recall it was yummy, but I don’t remember what was on it). I guess for the next trip I’ll start taking pics of our food. J By now, it’s close to 1:00 so we take a few more pics in Mexico. Suzie buys a pair of shades from a gift shop and we’re back at Soarin’ for our FPs. We all enjoyed the ride again and all agreed it was one of our favorites. We decide to start heading back to the room for some down time so we start heading back towards WS and the BC. I know there is soooo much to do at EPCOT, but I didn’t want to push the girls or DH for that matter. There would be other trips and more time in EPCOT later on in the week. After resting in our room for a bit, DH and Serena took their daily nap ~ seriously, if the two of them did not get their naps there would be NO WAY we could do anything in the evenings LOL! With such a gorgeous evening we decided to head to MK. This would be the girls first time there. I think I was more excited than they were. The park was pretty crowded near Mainstreet when we walked in, but the view of the castle made up for it. The girls were in awe! I loved it! Being that it was later in the day, the rides were packed with long lines and we were starting to get hungry for dinner. I wanted us to see Spectromagic because this would be the only day we could see it during our vacation. We staked out some prime spots right in front of the castle and we were able to watch the show on castle stage (sorry I forgot the name of it). Anyways, there were Princesses, and Mickey and Minnie and that’s all Serena wanted to see. She loved it! Even DH thought it was cute! Spectromagic was just as wonderful as I remembered as a little girl! I got all teary eyed watching it with my family. By now we were starving so we headed over to Columbia Harbor House for dinner. I figured we could skip the fireworks tonight and watch them another day ~ food first! The fish and fries were great and everyone enjoyed their meal. We headed over to the Haunted Mansion after our meal. DD8 (Suzie) really wanted to check it out. I told her we could go, but NO chickening out (like she did on Test Track). She ended up loving it! I hadn’t been on it seen the rehab and loved all the updates ~ especially the creepy bride with the axe! WOW! A few rides later we finally decided to call it a night ~ we were exhausted, but in a good way. I was planning on adding some pictures, but apparently photobucket is down. I'll add some when it's working again. |
