| Rob and I are def animal lovers so even though we SAID we weren't going back maybe we will make the trip for the parade, Yak & Yeti and to walk around the Discovery Trails and look at the maminals! lol! I am not sure yet. I was not a big fan of AK my first trip when i was 16 and skipped in on my first trip with DH but fell in love with it on our honeymoon...I love animals and i love the theming and I think its worth the trip just for the Lion king and Nemo shows By the way, I didn't know what I had been missing with the Passporter Club! Man- I printed some worksheets last night and they are awesome! Countdown calendars and I got these great summary sheets that will help with my journaling and TR once we are on the vacation already. So glad I decided to go for it. I already knew I loved their E-books so I decided to go for the Passporter Club instead of TGM this trip since I already had a subscription to TouringPlans.com for this year. isn't it awesome i had a month to month membership and then forgot to renew but its really has some great planning tools!

| Mel, All caught up, sounds like your plans are coming together. I too along with Grumpy add our vote for Le Cellier, Chefs de France and Earl of Sandwich at DTD, they are all wonderful. Thanks for the croc coupon, I am in dire need of a new pair, my pink ones were chewed upon..... to the PP Club, aren't those worksheets great Keep us updated on the trip planning ![]() |

| If you DO decide on AK, go to the Lion King show and try to sit in the first row for an especially interactive experience! The CMs can get right up close and personal sometimes! The meercat came running up to us and slid into my DGD#2 and placed his head in DW's lap! I have just been a member of PP Club about a month and just the interactive worksheets alone are worth it to me! Forget about Mel???? NOT likely!

| If you are working in some time at AK, I have to agree with seeing the Festival of the Lion King. It is a phenomenal show - by far my favorite of all of the Disney shows I have seen. |

If we go to shows FOLK is on my list, especially because Rob would never go see Lion King on Broadway with me! In any case, I am so glad you guys are all giving me this great info. I would have never known it was a must-see!

| You know what, Mel? We've never really seen any "shows" either!! Just the fireworks and stuff, but no shows. . . . So don't feel bad. DH is "Mr. Ants in the Pants" and to keep his attention long enough for a parade or fireworks is a feat in itself. I'm not a miracle worker.

| I have to say my DS(3) even loves FOLK. He was mesmorized(sp?) (he was 2 at the time) by the whole show. All though he kept calling Simba, Mufasa. I guess he can only think of Simba as lion cub. So another vote for a must see while at AK.

Awww! Most of you guys probably don't know this but my family went to Florida (Sarasota area) in 1994ish when the Lion King came out in the theatre. I was literally in love with Jonathan Taylor Thomas (middle son from Home Improvement, who was the voice of young Simba), or at least as in love as a 6th grader can be. In any case- I pretty much forced my whole family to take me to the movies during vacation so I could see it! lol! I totally understand if your DS prefers young Simba.... lol... I did and it was for totally tween girl reasons! lol!
