Sorry about your off day. I hope yesterday and today are better! At least today is Friday. Are you still going to tell Rob about the deposit today?

You sound like such a fun teacher, I bet my 10th grader would love having you!

Okay I love this theory!! Only, I highly doubt I could make a dress out of curtains so I can't include myself in the greatness! Also I heart Sound of Music too! Julie Andrews is my fav!

Go and see FOLK at AK and totally skip Lion King on Broadway. It'll ruin your chances of Rob joining you on any other BWay excursion. Other than the first big processional of animals, it was the looongest, dragging-on boring middle of any BWay show I've ever seen. Just my 2cents on that.

I am so glad you chimed in on that one! I was talking to an old friend about Animal Kingdom and she said she loved FOLK much more than Lion King on Broadway and that she thought it was tons more fun! It def gives me more incentive to get Rob there at WDW!

Thats awesome that your boyfriend is coming next year! Rob's not totally addicted to disney but he likes to go and once we get to the home stretch he gets excited. I still haven't told him but its coming soon- I promise. HAHA!
BTW, where did you and your boyfried cruise too? Lately I have been interested in cruising because before Rob lost his job in Jan I had enough money saved to Disney Cruise.
Oh and I keep forgetting to tell you that our Avatars are like long lost cousins! Haha! They are both wearing the orange hoodie, shorts, and flip flops! I noticed it when I read through your ptr and kept forgetting to mention it! Great minds think alike!

Eric and I have cruised twice not with disney though, although he has mentioned it this year but not sure. We are so addicted to cruising. We have gone to key west, cozumel and this march we cruised to nassau, St. thomas virgin islands, and St. Maarteen. We LOVED the islands. They were absolutely beautiful. If you have any questions just ask. I think for this last cruise and it was seven days it cost us 700 per person and that did not include airfare because were so close we drove to the port.

About the avatars: *LOL* I honestly just now noticed that when you pointed that out. I just got enough points to purchase the burberry purse and when i did that i changed the avatar. I am often seen in flip flops and a hoodie. I dont own a sweatshirt or coat for that matter that doesnt have a hood*LOL* How funny is that we match??? Too cool.....
Yeah speaking of telling Rob soon...eric he's such a non planner it was like pulling teeth to put our deposit on our cruise this past august for this march*LOL* But he gets so excited right before we leave whereas i'm often seen jumping up and down with excitement randomly leading up to the trip!

Wow! You are like a resident cruise expert. I wish we could vacation ANYWHERE during cheap season. Being a teacher, I have off when schools are out without much room to budge so we don't really get to go in months like March or September when vacations are cheaper. Whenever we get married I want to honeymoon in Hawaii and I watch this travel channel show called Girl Meets Hawaii and ever since I saw the cruise one I have been fascinated by cruises! Your recent cruise sounds a lot like the Disney Cruise we were going to go on. And Eric seems a lot like Rob--- I like to descirbe Rob as the anti-planner. He doesn't even like to plan dinner.
BTW, love your new sig pic!

Happy Hijinks and Why I Love My Travel Agent

So, at this point you are probably thinking--- how in the heck is this girl going to make it until Thanksgiving?

Well, I have some little excursions planned to take my mind off of the vvveeerrryyy long wait. Especially because there are alot of Middle Atlantic area PPers I thought I would share!

First, and the most Disney of them all:

Mary Poppins on Broadway!
This is going to be a totally fun and exciting experience for me, my mom, and my sister (hopefully after already igniting some more Disney love in them from Enchanted, this will put them over the top... one of the special things I want to do between Rob and my engagement and our wedding is get the 3 of us to go to Disney World together as like a girls only trip... more to come on that after this trip is long since over). Mary Poppins was my moms fav Disney movie growing up AND my sister and I were taught from a young age to love Miss Julie Andrews!

Lenore (my sis) and I also want to drag Rob and my brother in law down to NYC to go to Little Italy and Chinatown since niether of them have ever been and we love canolis and brocade fabric! This is a nice opportunity for me to try and get us over to the World of Disney Store for a quick fix since they sell WDW merch there!

More reasons why we probably WON'T end up skipping Animal Kingdom...

Going on a Beluga Encounter at Mystic Aquarium in Conneticut. This is pricy at $130 each but I think I might want to do this more than going on a tour in WDW. It looks like such great fun and would give me more park time. It would literally be my entire budget. Check it out and let me know what you guys would go for....
MA & IFE | Beluga Encounter

Also, ever since our first visit to Philly in March last year to see King Tut we have falledn in love with the Zoo here. We are planning to either take the time and drive out this summer (its a 3 hour drive) or go down to the Bronx Zoo.

Rob also wants to mountain bike with my brother a bit and maybe fish with his dad. I want to continue to work hard at my diet and exercise so I can be at my healthiest by the end of the summer. Big goals, I know. I have to try and take another Masters class this summer and keep saving because I am only Nannying part time since its the last summer the kids need a sitter.

We also both want to see Wall-E when it comes out and love going to the drive-in!

While I have your attention I also want to rave about my TA! She is amazing! I found her through the fabulous AmandaL on the forums here and she is just so fab herself! I found out through her my new favorite fun fact about WDW-- that it is twice the size of Manhatten! And because I booked through her company during the month of March, with my WDW paperwork I am going to recieve an autographed copy of the new edition of the Walt Disney World Trivia Book! And just like all of us lovers of all things vacation planning, aside from helping me make my actual ADRs she also emailed me a worksheet pdf file for my meal! Yay! Please PM me if you are in need of a great TA like her! I worked with a local TA for our other two WDW trips and never felt like the experience was so personal and like my TA was truely working this hard for me!

In any case, I thought that was going to end up being a mini-update but I sure can ramble, huh?

Next Up-

You have some wonderful plans coming up...I loed Mary Poppins on Broadway, I had heard some so-so reviews but I really enjoyed it...

I love the Bronx Zoo...it is one of the places I try to hit a couple of times in the summer, if you have AAA you can order your tickets online and save 20%....

I like the Beluga tour...and it might be fun taking in some of the other sites on your way up there....there are some wonderful outlets (another discount idea if you have AAA)...can you tell I have been really looking into the benefits

I think you have some great plans to keep you busy until the trip....in between you planning and all...lol

Your TA sounds wonderful! We had a really great TA for three years & last year in May she retired! She did arrange to work with someone else but she was definitely not the same! So this year we forgo the TA & did it ourselves.

Rob has never been to the Bronx Zoo, so we might save Philly until we don't have it so fresh in our minds. If you are looking for a nice day trip and your kids don't mind the car ride I would really recommend the Phildelphia Zoo. It was amazing. They had these awesome demonstrations of the wild cats (like getting to see a Cheetah run at top speed) and it was the cleanest zoo I have ever been to- not to mention the fact that its historical in that it was America's 1st!

She really is fab! We went the last two years to the lady who helped my sister plan her honeymoon and the first trip in Jan was awesome-- she basically got us free dining! It was an amazing deal. This last time it was more of a hassle. I ended up finding my own flights, making all arangements myself and since I booked through her it became more hassle then help b/c when I wanted to change something I had to call her and have her call them. Needless to say, I was bent on being TAless until I had an issue with my refund from the original planned trip. And Amanda was there just in time to recommend her! PM me if you guys change your mind and need one in the future!

I wanted to go to Discovery Cove but with the possible rain any second in July last summer the lady we spoke to said sometimes, without getting a refund you don't get to even see the dolphins and thats no fun and not worth the $300! But Belugas are so adorable! And you get to actually swim with them!!! I think it might be worth the money to do that first since we are planning to spend a day or two in Mystic this summer anyway AND not doing a tour at WDW just gives me an excuse to come back!!
