| I am saddened by the news... seems like as soon as you get going good, something else happens! We are planning a cruise this fall and in Jan, I fell and broke my knee! While workman's comp paid the bills, I was off work about 10 weeks, which means no vacation pay accumulating for that period. I think we'll be OK, but that certainly means less to play with. Sometimes life just SUCKS! We try to look at it like "it's just another thing!". Not much you can do about it except keep going. It doesn't sound like this was Rob's fault, and he's really trying to do his part. I think you have the right attitude, just keep encouraging him, and understand how frustrating this must be for him. Anyway, things will look up! People are buying new trucks and the trucking industry is the first to pick up after a slow down because companies need to move all their new product. I deliver new trucks and we don't have anyone laid off anymore. But just in case my theories don't work... ![]() a couple of pixies never hurts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hey! It's just another thing!!

![]() I know, this just feels like dejavu all over again. You are right about Rob- he does know what needs to be done. I am just hoping he doesn't find another decent job and go with it "for now" instead of finding something he could find as a career and take some classes.

| Disaster Day 2.... the sun often does come out Tomorrow So, you guys are amazing! ![]() Thank you so much for the pixies. You guys really know how to keep my chin up! ![]() Rob and I continued our talking and sorting things out today. It looks like he IS going to go back to school. Rob was working on his associates degree last year in criminal justice when we got the news he needed to find a new place to live. ![]() So now that we made it through that, made it through Rob's last terrible run with jobs that weren't worth his time anyways, and we ended up back where we were in January (if you recall my freaking out from WDW in Spring.... to DLR.... to Cruise.... to postponed WDW). I think its in both of our best interest to finish getting his Associates. If he goes in the summer we will have enough credits to have 2 full semesters done. That means, if he went FT in the Fall and then Spring, a year from now we would be preparing for his graduation! He would have to take some resource loans on top of stafford ones, and thats fine, AND he will have to get a part time job to pay bills, and thats fine to. He is interested in getting into Corrections, I think but since its a criminal justice degree he could take and civil service exam in that field. I don't see any upcoming exam but hopefully by the new year. In any case, this weekend we are going to do some scheduling and next week will be Rob's mission to find a job (with less requirements than the last job search so I am keeping my fingers crossed. Now, I am sure you are thinking, who cares? And so how does this relate back to the whole WDW PTR anyways? Well, Rob was a littler nervous about money and said, "Good thing we didn't spend $2000 on a vacation yet, huh?" and I smirked. He said "What?" and I said, "Well the deposit was only $200." And as I gave him a sideway smirk after I said that he said, "Ya know what? We will be fine.... plus I have really been wanting to go back lately!" And, so, of course I was prepared. We watched the episode of "Jon & Kate plus 8" when they took a road trip to Disney World. So, I guess thats another mini-update for the life of Me, the WDW junkie whose everyday life always ends up back on Disney! ![]() Wish us luck. More to come.

| Mel - so glad that Rob is going back to school and following up something that he really enjoys, plus there is so many options with a criminal justice degree... So glad that he was happy about your "surprise"...a vacation might be just what you both need and definitely once all that course work starts coming in...it will be a great trip and hopefully a celebration for what is to come
