I"m def ordering the flash drive now...the wrapping is super cute too!!!!
I saw that book at Barnes and Noble last month...i think i'll be purchasing that soon too....i could live in Barnes and Noble and with all the new Jane Austen books coming out...and now i want this new book about disney called "Be our Guest" .....i could easily spend 100's in that store*LOL*
I think if you try spoodles you will be very happy with that choice....we are also opting for Brown Derby on this trip in the fall....i will let you know how it goes....

Mel! Reading your PTR is costing me money! I had to get that flash drive, and I'm thinking about a couple of those Little Black Books. Too cute. I'll probably get the San Francisco one for my trip this fall. I'm glad things seem to be going better now (and congrats on telling your Mom!).

I'd offer some restaurant advice, but I always seem to enjoy my meal wherever I eat, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask. I will say that my favorite buffet (and restaurant overall) is Boma. I also really enjoy Beaches and Cream (that's lots of fun - I don't remember if you've tried it). My favorite character buffet is Crystal Palace. The characters are usually fun, and the food is about the best of all the character buffets. That's probably no help, but it's the best I can do.

I didn't actually know that they sold them for vacation planning at all! So awesome! I got one of the Bridal ones a few years ago for an old friend. So cute!
PS- And for all you teachers out there, when you buy travel guides at Barnes & Noble since they are so picky about the whole "must be for use in a classroom" part of the educator discount-if you say its for a field trip they will give it!

Enchanted is my FAVORITE Blu-Ray... one of the special features is alittle commentary that tells you about the little hidden stuff in the movie. You play this trivia game as the movie plays and after you answer questions right you get to learn more new stuff! ITs soooo cool! I Enchanted!

Your money will be well spent on the flash drive- I have only had it on my keys for like a day and 2 people already commented on it!
Also, you gave me great advice! Rob and I have NEVER been to a buffet at WDW unless you count the appetizer buffet at Akershus. I am def going to look into Beaches & Cream, Boma, and Crystal Palace... those are added to my list of Biergarten, Spoodles, and Captain Jacks for places to investigate for ADRs! Suddenly I don't feel like I have so much time!!!!!!!!

No REAL update today but, believe it or not ROB IS ACTUALLY EXCITED TO GO BACK! In the past I know I have said he is of the attitude that I can plan plan plan all I want, just talk to him about it later when we are in the month or so before. Well, he was a little worried about money this morning (with having to take student loans and his current situation and all) and you know what he said?
"It's no big deal because about 6 months from now we'll be standing on the sidewalk like 'Oh there's the MGM bus! Yes! Lets Go!' and not having to worry about money because it will have been long since paid off." And then as I am sitting here right now watching the Modern Marvels episode on WDW he turned when they showed Soarin' and was like "That is the BEST!"

Wow So many updates! I love it!

I totally agree with you about the American Idol thing...David Cook irks my nerves in a major way. I love Brooke but I think David Archuletta has the best voice in the competition...and Michael Johns was sooo nice to look at.

I love the pictures from the Vanderbilt estate...we went to the Biltmore in Asheville recently and it was amazing...the wealth of the Vanderbilt's is astonishing.

Can't wait to read more!

I usually go to B&C on my Epcot day (I know you were looking for a place to eat in WS). You can exit via the International Gateway and then boat or walk over to the BC. After your meal, it's easy to get back to Epcot or DHS (via boat or walk), or you can take a bus to another park. The only drawback is that they don't take ADRs, so if you go at a busy time you'll end up waiting (unless you sit at the counter).

And I'm glad Rob is finally getting excited about your trip.

I had a lot to catch up on! I'm so sorry about Rob loosing his job, but it sounds like he now has a better plan for his future. A quick for that situation, I hope that it all continues to work out for the best!

Your plans are looking good, I'm glad that you told your Mom and also glad that Rob is getting excited about things. I think it was wise to forget about the tours, you can always do them on another trip when finances are better. As far as restaurants, I agree with Sharon about Boma, it is so good and the atmosphere is awesome! We also love the character meal at Crystal Palace, we had lunch there last week and the food was great!

Looking forward to more updates!

Thanks! I can't imagine being Vanderbilt rich! lol! The first time Rob and I took pictures over there-- Rob got one of the both of us in front of the mansion and posted it on MySpace with the caption "Our New Place"

It really does! I actually got to talk to him about ADRs for the first time, too! He still wants to stick with Le Cellier, but he has to get SOME choice, right? I would rather go back to San Angel Inn personally if we were going to repeat a WS restaurant!

That just gave me a place for Spoodles- if we did it on Epcot day we could do the same. Maybe we should think about catching lunch at B&C if its a no ADR place. This way we would have less of a chance of a wait. It counts as a TS no matter what? Or can you use QS at the counter?

I do know how that goes with work- I am nannying RIGHT NOW! haha!
I am getting excited too. I thought we would end up just using the ADR choices I had originally planned for the Spring Break trip. But this trip is a day longer and everything is so different!

Thanks for the pixies- and you are so right about the tour and same thing with Mystic... and like my sister said, there is always time to try and get it at the last minute if you can work it into your budget, ya know?
