| Spring Break Update #3 Okay, so back to another fabulous Spring Break update! Well, I am turning into a Shopoholic, any tips to get myself to stop? Whenever I save money for one thing, I haven’t so much swiped my bank card before I have something else on the list. Lately, I REALLY want the new Ipod nano—its such a step up from the 2nd gen nano that I have- 4x the space, video capabilites and the same price Rob paid for mine! I have decided I won’t purchase it until I lose 15 lbs. I lost 5 already and I feel like its not too much to ask myself to work hard for 10 more! Now, I know I have posted pics of my niece up here before. She is also my goddaughter and I love her to pieces! Tuesday is her 1st birthday and my sister wanted the theme to be Fairy Princess. As things progressed I noticed she was theming a lot more like my wedding. (Sidebar: I know that I am not engaged or whatnot but when my sister got married I chose some things along the way and shared them with my mom and her- things I would want for my own wedding. I know Crissy is thinking that it is very Charlotte of me. In any case, I want a Cinderella cake topper, my colors to be pink and green, to have a special dance for Sisters & Brothers where I dance with my bro and Rob with his sis AND a castle cake to play off of the “Fairy Tale” theme that I wanted to pull in with favors, invites, and obvi my topper.) Now suddenly, Lenore (my sis) has decided to make her daughters cake a CASTLE! My mom swears they would be completely different but I don’t believe it. Here is a pic of Isabelle (my niece’s) cake to be: ![]() And here is one I picked (mind you the castle and flowers would only be dusted with some pink and the vines only dusted green so it would be very white): ![]() I told my mom how I felt and she kind blew it off like they would be totally different. Am I crazy for being annoyed? For feeling like my family will see my wedding cake and think that it’s a wedding cake version of the baby’s birthday cake? I told my mom and sister that I respect that they changed the cake and weren’t trying to hurt my feelings but I still feel like it stole my thunder before I got to have thunder. I basically said, I will get over it if you do the cake anyway but I don’t have to like it. ![]() Anyways, on to WDW trip planning I have changed my ADR choices but these are not in an order set in stone. I have done some reading and got a few down pat, the rest I have some questions on. After looking at the flight schedules for Jet Blue (I found the timetable on the site even though the prices aren’t yet released). Looks like we will probably fly in very early on Wednesday morning and leave early evening Sunday. Which works out because I wanted to get in the half day in the parks either Tuesday or Sunday. I think I might even pay through Sunday so we can stay in our room the longest amount of time possible. In any case, here’s my meal plan of late: Wednesday: Lunch- ???Character Meal??? Dinner- Le Cellier Thursday: Dinner- Hollywood Brown Derby with FDP (paying OOP) Friday: Dinner- Les Chefs de France Saturday: Dinner- ???Something Else??? Sunday: Breakfast- 1900 Park Fare (if you notice I switched this from a Sat Cinderella character dinner to a Sunday morning Mary Poppins bfast. I hear fabulous things about this over the OHana breakfast, plus we can schedule breakfast, freshen up, then head to a nice photopass photog session and get our nice little souvenir. I figure we can hit the park after we finish up via the monorail or enjoy the resort because we are looking at a 5:30ish DME pick up I am guessing) Here is what I am looking at for each… Character dining lunch Crystal Palace (I am leaning towards this because we tend to want to beeline for MK upon touchdown at MCO) Liberty Tree Tavern Chef Mickeys Dinner Spoodles (So far the most recommended with my interest most peaked… I can even get some shopping done and then walk to Epcot for a last ride of Gran Fiesta Tour and Soarin..) Beaches & Cream Captain Jack’s Biergarten (I would love to eat here but Rob HATES German food) Boma Help me! Help me! What would you do if you were me? LoL! I was hoping to have my choices squared away before the end of this week so I don’t have to worry about it in the stretch from back to school until ADR time! Next up: ::::::::She made WORKSHEETS?!!?? What will she do with the next 7 months!:::::::

| Mel, Boma was one of our favourite meals. I would definately do that. Make sure you arrive a little bit earlier to have some time to explore the AKL. I loved that hotel. 1900 Park Fare breakfast was excellent. Alice is my favourite so that is why i did it. you will see Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter and the Pooh characters as well. Just a little word of advice...we had a late resservation about 1030 which was great. tehre was only 3 other tables there at the time which ment plenty of character interaction for us.

| I totally know what you are feeling like with the whole "stealing your thunder" thing. My SIL got engaged like 2 months after us, moved into their apartment 2 months after we bought our house, it was like a whole big thing and Danny never understood why I was always so bitter. Must be a girl thing . . . . As far as the ADR's go - if you want to do the "fab four" than I would do LTT rather than CP. Jennifer (jhoshowski) always has good things to say about LTT, so it's gotta be good. We like CP, but if you don't want Pooh, than obviously that's not the way to go . . . . I would def try Spoodles. As far as B&C, maybe work that into lunch instead, since it's just burgers. Did anyone answer whether or not it's considered CS or TS? I would assume it's TS, but you never know. . . . Anything else??? LOL. And I am intrigued by the worksheets thing.

| I am really interested in trying Spoodles on our upcoming trip...it has so many fans on the boards. The only character meal i have ever done was Norway and I loved it but the CP seems to be very popular so i think it will work out. As far as your wedding cake idea...i love it...so adorable...sorry it was semi stolen...but i know all about thunder stealing sisters ...lol. P>S> Wanted to share some good news...DH got accepted to Law School in Orlando with a big hefty scholarship...so we are moving to Orlando in 3 months...can you believe i? AHHHHHHHH!

| FIRST, I just bought the ipod nano third gen at Sams.....I LOVE IT....i really do..its super sleek, super small and has a large holding capability. It has these little socks that fit it etc....the screen is great on it as well. I was really pleased with it. As for being a shopoholic...."hi my name is crissy and i too am a shopoholic*LOL* so no help here....i will change one week where i spend all this money at hobby lobby for my scrapbooks to Target....to Ross....to old navy*LOL* just like you when i get something i really wanted it doesnt take me long to find a new obsession....must be a girlie thing..i dunno.... I just wanted to say those cakes are gorgeous.....i cant believe they picked a cake so grown up looking for a first b-day but i'm sure no one will remember...but i too might feel that way...i was cracking up when you said that would make me think of charlotte because it did...when that girl steals her baby name that she had picked out....But like i said maybe no one will remember or maybe it will look totally different. I had thought about the cinderella stuff they have for a wedding for mine...they have it at walmart...but then i changed my mind again to a tropical theme*L* who knows SECOND.....okay so i'm still leaning towards Spoodles because i wasnt crazy about the good at Biergarten...it tasted fine and the atmosphere was amazing but i wasnt a big sourkraut sp??? fan.....or sausage fan either....but like i said i didnt hate it.....Boma is good but VERY different and unless you are going for the lets try something totally different avenue i dunno...the food was amazing but i've heard its hit and miss with those that are picky.....I also would recommend the LTT...i really enjoyed the food and atmosphere better but if you are looking to hang with pooh and friends then CP would be the better route....... Well you have inspired me to a trip to Barnes and Noble today to look for that guide again... I cant wait to see your planning sheets....i'm wondering how to set that up myself...

| Beaches and Cream is definitely a TS credit. They have a takeout window, but you can only get ice cream from there. I'm not sure how great a value it would be on the DDP. I'd probably pay OOP if I went there on the DDP. You might also consider just getting ice cream there. The sundaes are awesome. My personal favorite is the No Way Jose. It's a chocolate and peanut butter sundae, which I didn't think sounded that great, but I was surprised by how much I liked it. ![]() And I see you're considering LTT for lunch? I don't think there are characters at lunch at the LTT. At least not the last time I checked. Actually, if I remember, it's not even a family-style meal, like dinner is, rather you order what you want from the menu. As for the shopping thing... well, I can't say anything about that, considering you posted about something you bought and then I ended up buying it myself. ![]() And I'm glad your sister changed her mind about the cake. If your DN is only a year old, it's not like she's dying to have that cake anyway. Sorry you're getting the cold shoulder from them, though.

I think I will try and plan on heading there for a dessert. It sounds so tasty!I think it would be a fun excursion. Hopefully its warm enough. I figure if the average temp in Orlando in Nov is 80 and 50 in NY it will feel warm enough anyway, right? lol! Quote:
