I think we are going to go with Crystal Palace (its right in MK and we have NEVER met a Pooh character yet) for our first afternoon and the 1900 PF bfast for our last day and I am going to try for like 10-10:30 so we can try and get in like you said, when the time starts to slow so we can have great interaction! I love Mary Poppins... I was wondering about the 1900 PF bfast because I have heard different people meet different characters, it seems like Mary and Alice are always there though. Thanks for all your help-- I can't wait to see your pics from your time there!

Spring Break Update #4

Okay so before you start downloading my attachments, you need to have a couple fonts to get the full effect so if you aren't a font downloader like me you might want to first download the fonts and install them!
Waltograph Font | dafont.com
The above link will bring you to one of my fav font sites right to where you can download the "Waltograph" font. Its really simple, save it somewhere you can find the file write away, unzip it, and then drag the TTF (true type font) or OTF (original type font) file into your FONTS folder.
(To get there open My Computer --> Local Disk (C:/) --> WINDOWS --> Fonts) once your there, drag the file into your Fonts folder and it automatically installs! Sweet deal, right?
Anyways, I also used one from AbstractFonts.com (link below):
eurofurence light, Regular - Abstract Fonts - your type - 10 000 Free Fonts
And you can install them both the same way. The files will still seem alright without the fonts but no where near as cool!

Now you are all ready to get started!
Some of you have seen the first worksheet 2008 WDW.doc because I made it for our first trip that I had to cancel! I haven't updated it yet because I won't be able to go for my second wave of itinerary planning until I get the calendar for November next month! I will re-post once its updated. I just thought some of you might enjoy it!

The second worksheet Thanksgiving 08.doc is what I have been going through to work my current vacation itinerary out and will probably be posted in some form or another when its done (I might just copy and paste it into a post). I have spaces to leave my EMH for each day, our park plan, our meal plan AND I will probably use it for our confirmation numbers!

Finally the third worksheet liamvacation.doc is what I made up to give my parents while they take care of Liam. I wanted to make something in case we go away without him this summer and I think this is generic enough to work for whenever we are away for the next year or so, and whoever Liam stays with. Feel free to save the files and use them all for yourselves!

Also, I though you might be interested in the fact that I have smoothed some things out (you might have noticed in my schedule mock ups in the files) and officially chosen ALLL my ADRs!!!!!!!!!! Yay! Now all I have to do is chose my daily parks and make a little itinerary based on what parks we are visiting to see how I will squeeze everything in!
Drumroll please......

Thanksgiving 2008 Trip ADRs
Crystal Palace (for Lunch upon arrival)
Hollywood Brown Derby with FDP
Les Chefs de France
Spoodles
Le Cellier-
so far Rob's top choice although we also love San Angel Inn so he might switch it at the last minute
1900 Park Fare Bfast (on our last day)

for all your help with figuring out what I wanted!!! you guys are the best!
Just one more question: Which of my dinner choices would you go for on Thanksgiving? I was leaning towards HBD? I hear the best advice is to avoid MK on Thanksgiving but we don't have any ADR dinners planned there anyhow.

For Thanksgiving, I am with you on HBD. Given that Thanksgiving is an American tradition, it may be nice to celebrate it at an American type resturant. Chefs and Le Cellier might not give you that Thanksgiving feeling? It sounds like an awesome trip.

Liam is one interesting pup, I can tell you that much. As I write this right now he has his head on the corner of the laptop and casually tried to get closer so he can push my hand off the keyboard when the opportunity arrises! lol!

Thats what I was hoping to hear- I wasn't sure how "American" the cuisine was there. Plus I think an MGM night would be perfect- seeing Fantasmic AND with the Osborne Lights most likely being up!

I guess that is the norm. Most of the websites I have seen list Mary, Alice, and Mad Hatter as the definite characters. I wouldn't mind a little more Tigger and Pooh considering we have NEVER met any of the Pooh characters in either of our trips!

I am soooooooo excited! Did you see the tab for the countdown clock? I tried to put it in my signature but its not the right kind of code (bummer). My sisters commented the countdown to me on MySpace! OMG- and she told me she saw an interview with Cynthia Nixon and she said that someone DIES in the movie! She said its not one of the girls but that she wouldn't devuluge any more info! It sooooooo better not be Big! I him so! I feel like it could also be a complete lie (like sometimes when its flurrying here I tell my students that I heard a rumor the junior high already went home even though I know there is no shot of us leaving early-- tehehe)

Awww! Wall-E! I love the way he says his name at the end of the trailer! I kept rewinding it when me and Rob were watching something it was on! lol! Anyways, S&tC gossip- look what I just wrote to Starla! Can you believe it? I hope its a lie!

Hey Mel! I just wanted to say that I too am a teacher and we're looking forward to our first family trip to WDW in Nov. too. I have the whole week of Thanksgiving off so we're actually leaving Friday 11/21 (principal gave me permission) and staying until Thanksgiving day.
Question.....what is the photo opp thing at 1900 Park Fare that needs to be reserved in advance? How do you do that? We're planning on eating there as well and getting the photopass.
