| Hi Mel- I know I haven't posted alot to your threads but I just wanted to send supportive pixies for the troubles you & Rob are going thru with his job, career, etc. I've been thru so many ups and downs and life just doesn't seem fair sometimes-just when things are going good and you're doing well something comes right along and yanks the rug right out from under you. I just try to remember to take one day at a time.....and what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. Hang in there!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Mel Your plans are looking great! It looks like everything is coming together. I am glad that Rob is getting a little more excited that always helps. Thanks so much for the link to S&tC. My friend & I are going to do a girls night out on the 30th so we can go. We can't wait to see it. BIG is our favorite too. Can't wait to hear more about our trip!

Thats really awesome that you get so much time for Thanksgiving! Especially since you are going on your first family trip! Its great to have a lot of time for your first trip together! Me and Rob went for 10 days our first trip and it was fabulouso! It stands for Tour Guide Mike... the website is Walt Disney World Vacation Planner for Orlando, Florida Vacation TourGuideMiKE and it is a lot of planning info. They release these really great "Least Crowded Parks" of the day charts and there is a lot of helpful planning tools. Quote:
I think the "take one day at a time" strategy can work for so many different parts of life! Thanks for the well wishes! your so awesome! Quote:

| So as "KandJ" would say... I have been trying to disappear into my trip and can't seem to find good flights. I mean, I priced some different times and places to see how outrageous it was and I could go to DLR for that much money!!! I am considering pushing my trip back into December. (Whats one more month when you have like 7 to go as it is)! Soooo I need some advice only there was so much activity on the planning forum Cheryl was my only response last night! Please help! Which Winter Holiday in the World? You can see I am leaning towards the 30th to the 4th but I am skeptical of the first two uber busy days. Also, I noticed that Wilderness Lodge was not a huge leap from POFQ and wondering if anyone hand input on the two- a comparison? (Ahem... Amanda...lol)! Would it be way more fun to go with WL since I will have the extra month to save the money anyhow? How about at Christmas? Help me, help me, help me! Well, at least I am getting my mind off my woes, right?

| WDW is amazing at Christmastime! We've stayed at the WL - not over Christmas, but the photos of the holiday decorations are incredible! If you can swing it, I would definitely do it! (We're hoping to go this Christmas and our trips might overlap!!

I am def leaning more towards December now- I just don't know what I should do as far as which time frame, though. I just wish I could take off Friday the 19th, or I would be all over it. I am going to crunch some numbers later. Quote:
We went from Jan 2-12 in 2006 and has NO CROWDS! It was gorgeous weather and walk ons the entire trip! But that was before my teaching days! Thanks for the pixies! It means a lot!
