| Congrats, Mel! I'm sure you'll love the WL all decked out at Christmas time. Those pictures of your family are so cute! And getting a fireworks cruise on NYE is brilliant! with that!

![]() And BTW everyone, I'm still here! I do have an update on the way too... I just have to square some stuff away. I have been really busy getting ready to review with my classes at school, Rob just got a new job at IBM, and we were behind on everything from laundry, to cleaning, to food shopping this week so I have been exhausted getting it done! I have lots of questions and SO many things up my sleeve- just bare with me!

and I might actually be able to get an update in tomorrow. I came home from work sick today- I still feel like crap... I have some kind of stomach bug so I called in for tomorrow in hopes that calling in early would help me get a sub... if I feel better by the afternoon I may just get the update done! woohooty!Quote:

| Are we REALLY staying at a Deluxe???? So I am FINALLY here for my OMG-WooHoo-Am-I-Dreaming-Wilderness-Lodge-is-a-Reality-update... First of all... check out this link: Wilderness Lodge Map - A Google Maps Mashup It's from Google Maps and it shows the awesomeness and proximity of WL to MK. A-MAY-ZING! (Its also fun to drag the map around and check out the birds eye view of all the parks and such! Second of all... I thought you might like a peak at what I have been up to the last couple weeks... First of all... I updated my Passporter!!! ![]() Of course added WL pages and took out POFQ! ![]() And got the coolest guide book ever!! (And seriously, I am not going to get anymore guides EVER... but it was teacher discount week at B&N and I couldn't help myself!) ![]() Then, I found out my cousins were returning to WDW! Which is soooo awesome! They will be there for the OTHER busiest time of year- 4th of July!! My Aunt and Uncle are the coolest so I have been working with Memories By Betsy to get a gift basket delivered to their room! I also made them a countdown calendar! Here's a few pictures: ![]() Also, our Disney Store is closing. No biggie BUT it did remind me that I had some Spring clothes I bought after my birthday from Disney Shopping! One is a sweatshirt I am saving for Vacay and the others I have been happilly wearing the last few weeks! (KandJLuvDisney-- the brights shirt is the one I want to get the Bermuda Shorts for, wouldn't that be a cute outfit?) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Okay... so now enough with what I have been up to! I have soooooooo many questionnes about my NEW trip!! And I think we have had some good luck with me listing them so here it goes: To anyone who has been to WDW 12/30 or 12/31 1. How busy will MK be on the 30th? We are flying in this day and I was hoping to have lunch at Crystal Palace and I don't want to be nervous of the park filling to capacity. All the sites (wdwinfo.com and allears.net) seem to say this only about NYE itself, and I don't want to show up and be disappointed. 2. Is it typical that on the night before NYE the MK does their NYE fireworks? I read that last year this was the schedule (you could see Spectro, Wishes, and Fantasty in the Sky both 12/30 and 12/31) I was hoping this would be the same and we could see the FW a night early and then avoid MK for NYE itself. 3. Which park is LEAST crowded on NYE? I was thinking Epcot since its the only one without any special shenanigans (FW at MK and MGM, Parades at MK, MGM, AK) but wanted someone else's opinoin in case we are out late the night before and want to sleep in before heading to a park. To anyone who has been in December/January 4. When does the MK Christmas Parade stop showing? We completely missed it when we came on January 2nd and I saw it on last years schedule through New Years Day-- is this typical? 5. Do crowds dwindle as much as I have read/seen right after the holidays? It seems like starting New Years Day crowds will decrease about 20% each DAY! We def experienced it when we were able to come early January but I wasn't sure if this was the case the last few years when the holidays fell closer to the weekends. 6. What is the temperature? We had nice 80s, with a day in the 70s and one in the 90s on our trip from the 2nd to 12th in 2006... we brought all these layers and didn't use them-- should I play it safe or is it always warm? To anyone who has stayed at Wilderness Lodge 7. How convienent is the boat service? Am I daydreaming to believe I won't have to set foot on a bus to MK or Epcot?? I can just hop the boat to MK or to the Transportation Center and get the monorail to Epcot, right? Is there a quicker way to get to any of the parks? 8. How far is the bus ride to Animal Kingdom? 9. Is there anywhere I can see MK from my room? I know its unlikely- but based on the smaller size AND the fact that for our dates the cheapest room is actually a WOODS VIEW I though since I wasn't going to put in a request for anything else I might as well if there is a chance I may get a MK view from! Okay, I think thats all for now. Be back with more soon! Melissa Next Up :::::December 30 or 19? When O When Should We Go?:::::
