That's the stuff! There were actually two Gourmet Mickey lines. One had more color to it; mine is just blue and white. Here is a (not so good) picture of the pot rest:

I remember seeing them in WDW in that kitchen shop in DTD when we went in 2006 (we skipped DTD last summer). Very cute! I love when the style is very subtle with the Disney flare. Thats how the M.Mouse Collection dishes are. They keep it Disney but they aren't all little kid looking. Now you have reminded me all about my Disney Cookbook, maybe I will have to work on a nice Disney themed meal sometime this week!

mel,
my dishes came yesterday and they are super cute
I don't have a whole disney theme yet - I do plan on coordinating when I buy a house or condo as I can't paint my apartment
I will be getting a whole set later on including the salt and pepper shakers and serving bowls
can't wait to hear more

Thats so awesome! I was actually just coming on here to let you know that all the m.mouse stuff is on sale! I don't know if its memorial day weekend only and my mom seemed to get a better price with all her coupon codes for my color but it seems to be different prices based on colors and whatnot. Except the salt and pepper shakers- they are all $4.50! (PS- tell Juan I said sorry if you come to "collect" the rest of your gift!)
I totally know what you mean about the whole apartment living thing. When we get our dishes I will post updated pictures and you will see that thanks to a hideous duck border my Disney kitchen is fighting the style it was given by our landlord!

PS- They also have a little summer BBQ pattern and the placemats would look so cute with your yellow/brown dishes!
