Too cool about the impromptu PP meet at WCC. You got some great shots of the parade!

Having come back from changing into fresh unmentionables, I will comment on this:

Personally, I think we did it "smartest" to "CALIFORNIA"

Perhaps it was based on sense of humor -- "Best" for me is... well.... self-explanatory; "Friends" for Sharon because she's (generally) so nice to her friends when she mocks them; and, "Forever" for Karen because it takes her forever to come up with an appropriate come-back.

Heeee!

I know it may be hard to believe after all this snark, but I was so sad to leave you ladies. So sad, in fact, that I knew I had *that* look on my face -- you know the one. The one that broadcasts to everyone who sees it that you are in the very deepest depths of despair. I'm sure they all thought it was because I was leaving Disney World. Actually, after 11 days there, I was feeling kinda "ready" to go home and fling myself into the Christmas preparations with the boys.

The reason I felt like I'd swallowed a hot mitten was because I was leaving my dear, dear friends and I didn't know exactly WHEN I'd see them again -- the plans for the summer were still loose and nothing had been solidified...

Sigh... just looking at the face I was making sends my heart into my shoes. So, I'm off to check out Karen's countdown to know -- to the second -- when I'll be seeing my wonderful gal pals again!

Oh, and would y'all please put some serious pressure on Miss Karen? I've been holding on to some funny pictures and stories (having shared some in Sharon's wonderful and timely TR) and I'll never get them out unless K-Dubs gets off her duff and starts cranking out the updates.

Eileen -- who WILL be doing a TR from June and will NOT be trusting someone's empty promises to finish.

It's sad to see everyone start to pack to go home.
I'm going to have to pay more attention to the pre-show of the GMR. I don't recall anyone blowing smoke out of their noses.

It seems like, being in the middle, I'm getting insulted no matter what. It doesn't matter, because MY way was the way it happened.

Hmmm... High School Teacherish... is there a not bad way about saying that?
I like to think I sound more like Julie Andrews a la Mary Poppins then Judy Dench (at any time of her life)! LoL!

What is this parade? Is this every year? OMG! I am so feeling holiday goodness right now! Will I get to enjoy a holiday parade at MGM during Thanksgiving? I already have my fingers crosses about the castle dreamlights!

That's the Hollywood Holly Day Parade -- it's played at the Studios for at least a couple of years. (Giselle was a new addition this year, though.)

I wonder, what with the new Block Party Bash parade, if they'll switch back to this one at the holidays. (Any Disneyland veterans who can tell us what they do at DCA with the BBBash at the holidays?)

Just catching up, Sharon! I have to say that I'm so cross that we left when we did - the thought that we were stuck in an aluminium cylinder at 43,000 feet, whilst you were having so much fun at the Adventurers' Club, makes me .

Incidentally, every time we ride the Great Movie Ride, I instruct my lot to look out for Cyd Charisse and the nostril smoke. Every time. And we all think it hilarious too.

Great parade photos.
