Ooh...I can't wait for more about this trip! We've traveled to WDW with friends and their kids and it was not my favorite trip by any means - curious to hear your experiences. Hope you're feeling better!

Aaaaaarrgh!

When there's a TR that I'm super duper excited to read, I tend to get too impatient to read the pre-TR and then wait for the actual TR to start. So I wait to see a couple of updates and then I glom the whole thing. Today was the DAY! Zoiks, I got so into the trip down and then -- blammo -- no more updates and you haven't even entered a park yet! Hopefully you'll be back "at it" again soon. <<please, oh please, oh please!>> Even though the disclaimers make me think this one may be a doozy!

Also, I have to tell you that Eddie Izzard is a huge fav in our house too!
Eileen

PS - I feel like a totaly heel -- -- because I forgot to send over our lame ideas for your Epcot 'adventure'.... I hope you came up with something good, because we (K-dubs and I) were totally drawing a blank.

PPS - I'll have to find something to do to procrastinate doing the taxes. Maybe putting up the resource page for my website would be a good excuse!

So we got to Epcot about 5 to 10 minutes before Kevin and Lori's bus. I went on in to take some pictures while Andy went through bag check, but he got through so quickly he was pretty much right behind me.

It was really neat walking in and seeing the huge topiary set up at the front of the park. While we were standing there waiting for K & L I snapped off a few more photos and then realized that my beloved Epcot entrance music wasn't playing... Live 365 really does a number on you, I'm telling you. Instead of the entrance music they had fun summertime oldies playing, which was cool, too... I guess.... I secretly stood there crossing my fingers that it wasn't playing throughout the park....I know, I'm very strange....

One of the above mentioned summertime fun oldies included Surfin' USA....to which Andy felt the need to illustrate for you at home..

And one more shot before we hit up the PP dude.

We prepurchased the CD before we left so we jumped right on the first photopass guy we saw.
I swiped these off the website b/c my CD isn't here yet....... So technically they're mine.

Finally K & L arrived and made it through their first turnstile. As soon as they did Audrey stopped dead in her tracks at the site of the larger than life Goofy and Mickey.

I thought to myself if she's that star struck by some greenery, she's gonna really flip at the real characters...

K & L had to go rent a stroller b/c they didn't have room in their car for theirs. That car was packed to the roof. Andy and I actually made a bet Sunday morning about how much crap we thought they'd have packed in their car. I don't think Andy ever actually produced a number, but I will say that I grossly underestimated....
I took a few more pictures while we waited...

Once they had their stroller we hit up another PP guy on Goofy's backside

I scooted ahead to check out the wait times on the tip board..... YOWZERS!! 150 minutes for Soarin' and 110 minutes for Test Track. Yeaaahhhh, mmrrrriiiiight....we'll hit that up later. We decided to go ahead and go to the Living Seas so Audrey could see Turtle Talk. We had the timing fairy on our side apparently b/c we walked right up to the front of the waiting area and slowly watched the room fill up behind us.
Audrey (and I) enjoyed watching the Rays while we waited.

While we were waiting Kevin mentioned something about wanting to get a beer and with a quick check of the time I realized we'd have just enough time to get over to the UK after Turtle Talk to grab a beer and catch the first BI show of the day So that was the plan.
Turtle Talk was fun as usual. We sat on the front row while Audrey sat on the floor. I was glad to see that she would sit down there by herself. She perked right up when Crush came out. She followed him from one side of the screen to the other. Too bad I said to Lori "Every Crush we've ever seen is always spot on with sounding like Crush" and then this fellow opens his mouth and sounds nowhere near as good as the ones we've seen in the past Oh well, maybe she didn't notice. I am more anal than others....

After the show we had to stop so K & L could have their first of a million smoke breaks on the trip. There was a spot over at the Coral Reef so they headed over there. I waited in line to get Audrey an ice cream b/c she wanted one, but b/c some woman was apparently ordering the whole frickin' cart, I was still in line when they finished up so we just decided to head on towards the UK and stop on the way. Wise decision as we found a cart with no line a little further down the way.
Since Audrey had a nice cool treat, it was only fair that we partook in something as well....
So once we reached the UK it was time for our first of a million (not really...just tying it to the smoke break comment...) frosty beverages

Those aren't both his.....one's mine (yeah, that's what I told him I'd say so you all didn't think he was a total boozer ) In the background you see our first sighting of our Fab Four
When the show was over we walked through the gardens around back. I just LOVED the tea plants in the tea cups!

We decided to continue around the WS since we were there. Audrey really loves Snow White so we wanted to try and see her in Germany. On the way to France we stopped to see if our dependable rodent pals were hanging out. (Bet you never really thought of Chip n Dale as rodents..... I haven't....until just now...) You can always count on these two to be there and to be pretty much on their own. We walked down towards Chip and all worry I had about Audrey being afraid of the characters went out the door. She ran right up to Chip and gave him a big hug I have to admit....I got all teary eyed. It was a great moment!

Somehow Audrey got it in her head that she should sit down to have her picture made with the characters.....so that's exactly what she did....EVERYTIME we saw a character....

I think it thoroughly confused an already confused Dale

He had to kind of take her arms and make her hug him She wasn't really sure what to do.
I had to have my picture with Chip, too.....forgot to post that a few seconds ago..

We hit up another PP guy on the bridge...

Once in France we headed back in to see if any characters were out. K & L hopped in line with Audrey to meet Belle, Beast, and Aurora. While they waited she wanted a sucker so we went off in search of one. We found ourselves some French chocolate in the process.

Good stuff!
We made it back over just in time to see her meet Aurora. Belle and the Beast had to leave before she could get to them....
I love this PP photo of her right before she gets to Aurora...

My pictures....

And one last PP pic

We worked our way on around towards Morocco. We got distracted by this garden set up and stopped to rest a bit.

Andy and I walked over to the Tangerine Cafe to get some Casa Beer (the Moroccon beer) but they were out What?? You're out of your own beer?
We decided that was our cue to move on towards Germany.
A few last photos before we left...

Coming up: Spaten hits the "spot"(en)

The flowers look fabu -- especially the one with the duck in it!

I love how Audrey sits down for the characters. It would be a fascinating test to see how they'd react to "grown-ups" doing that.... hmmm...

Gves me an idea for June.
